Union Street Brasserie is a friendly coffee shop in the heart of Yeovil that’s open seven days a week from 9am serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. The extensive menu offers something for everyone with light bites, burgers, salads and filled flatbreads as well as their popular all-day full English. They also do fab homemade cakes to go with your morning coffee or afternoon tea. I booked afternoon tea with my mum and nan this afternoon at a cost of £20 per head. Booking was easy on line, but the service and food was disappointing. The Scones were tiny and some stale. The panacota looked lovely but far too sweet, so could not finish. We had a pot of tea and when I asked for some more hot water I received a tiny amount for less than one... We were only asked if we wanted anything else at the end of the visit, some hours later. Such a shame..

First time coming here, the server that had taken are order was wonderful, food was delicious, however no one came over to find out if everything was okay and no one came over to find out if we wanted anything else we had to find someone and it wasn’t busy. Will be coming back as the food was delicious and a good price.
