Verdes Restaurant is a welcoming Italian and Mediterranean restaurant in Eccleston near Chorley, set in a beautiful waterside location. Ideal for relaxed lunches, evening dining, and special occasions, Verdes serves freshly prepared dishes inspired by authentic Italian flavours. Guests can enjoy daily lunch and dinner specials, along with great-value early bird options. Families are always welcome, with children under 10 eating free on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm–5pm. The restaurant is managed by Slava, whose hands-on approach ensures a warm, friendly atmosphere and excellent service. The kitchen is led by Naples-born Head Chef Giuseppe Cioffi, bringing over 20 years of experience to every dish. Locally sourced produce is used wherever possible, with gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options available.

Went to Verdes for the first time. Staff very friendly. Lovely setting by a pond. It was busy for a Tuesday evening so that was a good sign. Had the 2 course menu £21.45. Food was good. I had king prawns on a skewer to start and tortellini à la crema main. My husband had black pudding and a pizza. Recommended.

We ordered from the lunch time menu the food was first class as usual. The service was again first class. We had a nice table over looking the duck pond. At £14 95 for two courses good value for money.

Verdes never lets us down and always maintains its very high standards. It was my birthday and we went for lunch with our daughter and granddaughter. As always, the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive and the ambience was great. It’s a beautiful restaurant in a lovely setting by the duck pond and the set lunch choices are very good value. My daughter had made some cupcakes for the occasion and it was a lovely surprise when they were brought out on a plate with a candle for me to blow out. Everyone sang ‘happy birthday’ which really made the day very special!

Visited Verdes for the first time in years this Tuesday and had a fabulous evening. All of the staff were so friendly, personable and attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Excellent value as it was their £6.95 deal & we did not feel the food quality was compromised at all. We will definitely be back & would not hesitate to recommend to others.
