We came in for a Sunday lunch. We booked for 6.00 pm. Both of us had beef, one large one small. Food arrived very quickly and was excellent. The beef was so tasty as was the rest of the meal. We always come here for a meal when visiting Barmouth. My favourite place for many years. This time was later in the year but have loved the beautiful garden in the past.

We love it at the Victoria Inn. We have been five times now and had fantastic meals each time. There is a wide choice of meals for meat eaters and vegetarians. My mother and I had beautifully tender and flavoursome minted lamb. My husband had a delicious vegetarian pie. There was also a variety of vegetables on offer, all beautifully cooked. The setting is lovely and the service excellent. Can’t wait to return.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience On arrival I spoke with a member of staff to say we had a reservation for 6 we were asked to wait a minute. That member of staff was then stood behind the bar eating something. We waited a full six minutes in the pub entrance while staff chatted at the bar and then another arrival drew attention to us standing there. Food Our food was overcooked the sausage skin was really hard and chewy indicating they had been reheated. In addition the meal was barely warm. On reflection we should have sent them back. Had someone come and asked us how are food was I may have had the opportunity. Noone checked on us and I found this bit the usual standard of customer service you'd expect. We chose not to have a dessert or another drink because of our poor experience.

Very enjoyable Sunday Roast. I had pork and my wife had beef. Both meats were very tender and plenty of sides to accompany. Quite busy with a good atmosphere so it seems very popular. Our only contention is that dogs are allowed in all dining areas and we believe this should not happen. A separate dog area should be allocated as is the case in our frequented pubs in Cheshire.

Five of us visited for Sunday lunch yesterday. All the staff from beginning to end were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing we’ve not had a meal like that in along time, we all had beef and lamb dinner and it was just cooked perfectly, it wasn’t chewy and it just melted in the mouth. We will definitely be returning, we also loved the fact that you could order a small plate as a large can be to much. Thank you so much. ☺️

First ever visit. Nice place . Quiet to start as it was early lunch time. Pick up fairly quickly. Food was fine. Large portions. Beer selection a bit limited but not a problem. Likely to book again if in the area

Went to Victoria Inn as a party of five thoroughly enjoyed the meal good choice and service plus the ambiance of the hotel in a lovely setting. Will definately return next time we are in Barmouth.

Very friendly pub that serves excellent food. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Dogs are always welcome. We use this pub regularly when we are down here on holiday. Would highly recommend it.
