About Vine Inn

Hidden away down a small lane and surrounded by woods and a river you will find the delightful Vine Inn. This character-filled pub sits in the heart of the Client Hills, a popular walking area near Stourbridge and closer than you might expect to Birmingham. With its low ceilings, open fires, brasses, clocks and extensive gardens, it’s got everything you might look for a in a classic old country pub. The bar area offers a wide selection of ales, local ciders and wines and the smart restaurant area with its linen-clothed tables offers a menu that combines pub classics with their trademark fresh fish and game dishes from the Specials Board. The Vine Inn is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Dogs are welcome but only in the lounge area. Booking is essential for inside and highly recommended outside.

A party of four of us visited The Vine for the first time last Friday evening. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The menu left us spoilt for choice. We all chose something different. I got to sample everyone’s main meal and was very impressed with the quality. Each meal is prepared on the premises and all were very tasty. The portion sizes for the deserts were amazing. My husband had the home made crumble with custard which was outstanding. l will certainly be visiting to sample more from their menu soon

Absolutely wonderful place. All the staff were extremely kind and accommodating as I had to bring my daughter unexpectedly. Really attentive staff, really excellent chef with fresh food and wonderful choice on menu. The atmosphere is calm warm and inviting.

We hiked to The Vine over Clent hills and received a warm, friendly welcome. We had reserved a table and had arrived early but our table was ready for us. Food was amazing and service was quick. We really enjoyed our afternoon and stayed longer than we planned and had to get a lift home. Perfect!

We came for a meal while we were halfway around the Badger trail walk with our dog. We ate our meal in the garden as it was sunny. I had mussels and chips, my friend had venison, my other friend had a lion's mane mushroom steak. We all commented on how lovely the meals were as we were expecting normal pub grub. We got a lot more and considered our meals good value, will definitely return and recommend.

Sunday lunch was delicious, such a lovely pub, the fish n chips is also the best I have had, the staff are great too. There’s plenty of parking and outside seating.
