About White Horse

White Horse is a new Lincoln venue opening in Autumn 2023 on Hungate. It’s an independently owned freehouse pub and restaurant from the people behind Kine and will be serving local and seasonal food with exciting wine and beer choices. Expect a selection of small plates and large plates, craft beers, natural, organic and orange wines and delicious cocktails.

First time we’ve been back here since the new location from KINE and we were NOT disappointed. The staff were excellent, especially Max, he was an absolute blast. We were a chatty bunch that gave him a run for his money and he handled us really well. He apologised for the food being slow but in all fairness we didn’t even notice, we weren’t in a rush as we were having such a good time in between plates… but we certainly didn’t turn down the free round of drinks to compensate! Communication and service was what made this experience a pleasure! The food was still as incredible as it was before the move to the White Horse. I must add that the manager, I think his name is Ben, makes us feel like old friends each time we visit, we love it! Keep up the great work guys! The owners must be very proud, and so they should be

Super delicious food, attentive service and a great atmosphere. The small plates are varied and always spot on- and the burgers were awesome. Went for the brunch and could have stayed for hours- highly recommend!

We have always loved Kine and decided to have our Xmas meal here, the new place is lovely, stylish lovely atmosphere, great bar area as well as restaurant and snug. Food is top notch as it always has been and the menu options are great. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend to all!

White Horse provides all you need for a great evening out. The refurb is beautifully done with a wonderful bar and cosy snug. The real fire is so welcoming. The real star though is the food. Creative flavours and beautifully cooked. The burgers never disappoint. Every dish is thought through and soooo tasty! You will be back. Favourite place to eat
