The Windmill Inn at Linton has been at the heart of village life for more than 460 years and is one of the Yorkshire’s oldest pubs. It’s a proper country inn, full of charm and steeped in history - from the stone-flagged floors to the rustic beams and the fire that’s always lit. Set in the countryside southwest of Wetherby, the Windmill is very much a destination venue and has two beautifully appointed rooms in the grounds if you fancy an overnight stay. They serve hand-pulled ales and hearty, honest food at breakfast, lunch and dinner, based on local produce, where possible, plus specials that change with the seasons.
