Booked for Sunday lunch was sat very near to lovely warm open fire. Staff were very attentive and helpful. The meal was served very quickly fantastic selection of vegetables tender meat and a yorkie to die for. All covered in proper tasty gravy. Fantastic meal.

We had Sunday Lunch as a Mother's Day treat from my Son. We all thought the meal was lovely. I have to say it is one of the best Sunday roasts I have ever had in a restaurant. We all cleared our plates and didn't need anything else to eat for the rest of the day.

Lovely valentines meal with my husband. The starters and main dishes were both really lovely. We got moved into the main bar area as the main restaurant was very cold but it didn’t spoil anything. The staff were and are always really lovely too.

We enjoyed our first meal on Sunday, with a family of 6. Initially, I thought the prices were expensive, however, when the food arrived we agreed it was well worth it! Adults and children agreed the food was delicious and plentiful (home made quality). Staff and service fantastic. One slight criticism.. neither the food or gravy was hot!

The meal was good but the room was Baltic!! Was a family meal for husbands birthday. Service was good and food was great but we sat absolutely frozen through. No door on dining room, In a castle in winter!!! Not good!

Lovely setting for a superb Sunday Lunch. The restaurant is a nice room in the castle with countryside views. Staff took our drinks and food order promptly and were friendly and pleasant. The food was great with plenty of veg and meat. Yorkshire Pudding too of course. After the meal we relocated to the adjacent lounge with our drinks for a relaxing and cosy end to the afternoon nattering by the fire.
