About Ying Wah Restaurant

Situated in the village of Woolton, Ying Wah has been serving quality, authentic Chinese cuisine to the neighbourhood for over 30 years, making it one of the longest-established in Liverpool. A recent refurbishment has given the two-floor restaurant a new lease of life and its loyal patrons have been giving very positive feedback. The top-floor function room has been extended to accommodate up to 70 people and now has a private bar and waiting area. It's perfect for birthdays and weddings and an additional private dining facility has been created. The interior has been tastefully decorated throughout with new carpets, decorative red chairs, clothed tables, low voltage mood lighting including soft blue spots and the use of feature wooden dividers to split the restaurant into sections. The upstairs function and private dining room has had the same treatment with newly upholstered banquettes and green mood lighting.

Had a lovely time last night at the Ying Wah and as usual both the food and staff were great . We had the banquet which was good value . Really enjoyable evening

Amazing service, very helpful staff, stunning food, fab cocktails, we had the ying wah banquet well worth the price Only one thing was the sun was so strong coming through the windows, we asked for blinds to close, but they are broken, quick fix.

Always excellent food and great service. We came for Chinese new year and it was a great night. Even though it was a busy night we were still given the same attention and checked on for our drinks etc .

We really enjoy the food tonight , the service was a little slow but that actually suited us tonight. It was extremely busy for the dragon dance show . The staff were friendly a the atmosphere was good. We would definitely recommend giving it a try if you haven’t . Portion size was good a food very tasty. We will definitely be returning

We visited Ying Wah on Tuesday 17th February celebrating the Chinese New Year. We had our usual Ying Wah special banquet which was equally as delicious as it usually is& would highly recommend. Batman was very experienced making cocktails & his manner was excellent - well done Margaret & Terry Davies
