Went there on a Saturday night with my wife and must say the level of service at the Zafran is disgusting!!We waited for more than 20minutes for our starters. OVER 45minutes for our main meal and we had to ASK the waiters for drinks. There was about 20 people in the lounge who were also waiting for takeaways and sit downs. They shouldn't take these orders or accept these people if they are not capable or serving these people. The decor is very, very outdated. There are wear and tears in the carpet which has been tapped over. The metal strips covering the joints on the laminate flooring is coming loose and is also a safety hazard. The toilets are small and have a foul stench. The hot water in the gents doesn't work. My wife also said the same about the ladies. There was mould and damp patches on the ceilings which seem to have been painted over. The only good thing about this place is the food. If it wasn't for the food, we would certainly go else where. I hope the boys here take my comments as constructive criticism and not as an insult to their hard work.

Best Indian around Wales and great value for money. Not at all skimpy on potions , always full up after meal. Great service from friendly staff.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant in the area. There is a wide choice and very reasonably priced, nice deco and excellent service. The food is always first rate and it is one of my families favourite restaurants.

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal there last week, 6 went, 6 good reports. A pleasant atmosphere there from customers & staff, with plenty of choice from the menu. If there is any hesitation, mine would have been better if the chillies had been finer chopped throughout the dish. I'm picky though!

one of the best I have eaten in in the entire south wales area.
Staff are knowledgeable about their food and most helpful when you want to try something different 5 star.

Innovative food with chilled atmosphere. The Sunday buffet is a steal - great fresh food and a good wine list.

This was a culinary discovery in this small rural village of skewen. The food was exceptional with ever ready staff guiding you through their extensive menu where they specialize in innovative Indian cooking. The atmosphere is relaxed with the colours and the chilled out music. I can only describe it as an experience

We have eaten in the restaurant and had (far too many) take aways and I can say without a doubt it's the best Indian food we've eaten since London!
