Had a delicious evening meal and staff could not have been more helpful, including a table near the door and biscuits for our dog. I would highly recommend and will be visiting again soon.

We booked for late lunch/ early dinner on Sunday 4th May and so glad we did because it was very busy. This is our favourite pub to eat in the Romford area and again it didn’t disappoint. As usual the service was fantastic the food was delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Every time we come we can’t wait for our next visit. Thanks to everyone at The Ship.

Very nice meal, good service would visit again

We had Sunday lunch at The Ship. The restaurant was quiet, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was so attentive, and polite. She knew her stuff, and had everything covered. It was a lovely sunny day, and that would account for the quietness, as normally this lovely pub is packed. We enjoyed a rare meal out, and had a lovely walk in the park afterwards. Highly recommend and nicest pub in the area.

Great pub. Victorian style with low ceilings and lots of character. The food was fantastic and excellent customer service too. Plenty of menu choices and caters for vegetarians. There were 11 of us at the table and all the food was served at the same time. The price of the food and drinks was very reasonable too. We were celebrating a birthday and the chef and staff made it very special. Would recommend.

I am vegan and the choice here was really good, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced, and service was excellent too! overall very impressed, will definitely go back and would recommend

Enjoyable Sunday lunch with the family at the Ship. Nice choice of starters. Delicious roasts with all the trimmings, excellent selection of vegetables and sides dishes. Great service from attentive staff and lovely welcoming atmosphere. We’ll certainly come again.
