Hi have been coming to this family run establishment for the last 10 years. The menu has changed a lot over the years but the quality of food and the service has remained the same. This is the only Rusholme joint who offer genuine Indian taste and the staff have been always very good and look after you well.

Punjab Tandoori – Rusholmeshahenshah restaurant 2009, i often eat at the shahenshah restaurant with my friends and family, there is a waiter who wears all black and has got a dark complexion who is always blowing his nose infront of customers while they are eating!not very hygienic with the swine flu pandemic around! the card payment machine seems to be always broken when he is around!very unfriendly and rude guy! other than that food is good and the other staff are brilliant
Shahenshah Restaurant – Rusholmeshahenshah restaurant 2009. i have been eating at shahenshah for quite a while, there is a waiter who wears all black and has got a dark complexion, he is always on the phone and is always blowing his nose in front of customers. this is not hygienic when the swine flu epidemic is around! he is very rude while taking orders and he always asks for cash money not card payments! i have a feeling he keeps some of the cash! other than that food is great!

Punjab Tandoori – Rusholmemy 3rd choice very nice but seem to rush you too eat up order your starter then tell them your not ready for main course yet . very expensive for the drinks. 2nd choice is darbar. 1st choice is al bilal. the rest are not so good. as an Indian i know. nice place enjoy anyway.

Lal Qila – RusholmeExcellent food at all times. The dim sums are on special half price offer Mon-fri before 5.00 clock.Try the mixed roast meats on a bed of rice! Brilliant. Or try the roast duck with chopped prawns in mushroom sauce-unusual but amazing! Beers can rack up the bill so try the Chinese tea after a glass of wine perhaps. The staff are very helpful & pleasant & will explain dishes if you ask them.We go every week as we love the dim sums for late lunch!
Tai Pan Restaurant – RusholmeUntil now, the slow service and tatty decor were always compensated by the exceptional food. But no more it seems. The trademark dosas were very poor - the fillings poorly cooked, crudely spiced and with several key ingredients missing. This was the best restaurant on the Curry mile, but it looks as if it's falling behind.
Punjab Tandoori – RusholmeWhat can I say about ShahenShah... It has been one of the top restaurants on Rusholme Road for 20 years or so... It has changed in that time, but the quality of the food has remained consistently good. Staff have come and gone but the whole experience has always been good to great. A classic Rusholme Curry House with an excellent menu and great staff!
Shahenshah Restaurant – RusholmeMy 7 year old daughter and myself went to Spicy Hut again on Friday evening. My family have been many times before, the food is amazing and so are the staff. The lamb starter and lamb shashlik melts in your mouth, the best restaurant in Rusholme bar none. Thank You Spicy Hut for the present.

Shere Kahn – RusholmeWe visited the Shere Kahn on Sunday 18th May 2008. We had excellent curries served by friendly staff. But to add to our enjoyment we spotted a certain American musician in the restaurant......none other than Jimmy Carl Black from the Frank Zappa band "The Mothers of Invention". Obviously the reputation of this fine restaurant has spread beyond Manchester.
