Had the hot seafood platter which was absolutely amazing and two people had burgers. The burgers were average and definitely had better, however it is a seafood place. The only thing that let it all down was the chips. They were not cooked properly at all and were not very tasty. Can’t fault the service.
Lookout On The Pier – ScarboroughWe were a party of 4 and had booked a table for 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was busy but we were served promptly and the food and staff were excellent. We were not rushed to leave and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal which was reasonably priced.
Lookout On The Pier – ScarboroughStaff, food and overall experience was amazing as always!! Found this hidden gem 2 years ago and always look forward to visiting every time we're in Scarborough. Food quality and flavour are top tier and on point. Even bigger plus is that they are dog friendly. Will definitely be coming back! I recommend booking in advance though as they get fully booked.

For once I steered away from the chowder and opted for the crab salad with extra prawns….fabulous ☺️ It was also Armed Forces day in Scarborough so we were able to watch the planes flying over the harbour. The doors were open onto the balcony & we had a great view & a lovely breeze. First class food & service, we’ll be back soon.

Having visited this beautiful fish restaurant previously for afternoon lunch we were not disappointed with our first visit to sample a delicious breakfast. The beautiful view overlooking the fishing harbour adds more quality to this gem of a restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Beautiful food served promptly and well presented. Congratulations to all the staff from front of house and kitchen please keep up the great work.We highly recommended this fish restaurant which is a gem of Scarborough.

Only suggestion I have is to put people with a dog or dogs at the side - we had two dogs and felt a bit in the way of people and the staff, and would have been out of the way at a table at the side/next to the wall. We put in the booking that we had 2 dogs.

We’ve had seafood all over the world and this was one of the best. To also allow our very well behaved Doberman Ruby was an added bonus Booking again for September when relatives from New Zealand are over.

It’s not often now that you go out for a meal and feel like you have had total value for money, but this has been totally true for us on both occasions.
Lookout On The Pier – ScarboroughSecond visit to Lookout, great seafood served with style and respect by attentive staff. Sitting outside is likely to attract the attention of the local gulls so be wary of them! That said it doesn’t detract from the overall enjoyment and we’ll 100% be back soon.

We had the fish/seafood starter bucket to share then the seafood stew and the chowder with a bottle of wine absolutely gorgeous food definitely on our list to come back the staff were so friendly a great place!
