We returned to this restaurant for our wedding anniversary on 5 March 2013 as we had been the year before - we loved it! We are big curry eaters and this restaurant is highly recommended. It has a beautiful interior, the food, service, drinks etc are all excellent. A really nice night out for curry fans everywhere! Helen

We had a lovely meal here on 5 March 2012.It is a nice modern restaurant with contemporary decor and nice subdued lighting.We hadn't booked a table but we were made very welcome and offered a nice quiet table with a candle. The staff were absolutely lovely.The food was great. We had poppadoms and a mixed Indian starter for two. These were served with some really nice chutneys including tamarind which was good..The presentation and quality of the food was excellent. For our main course we each had a chicken curry a Madras and a Tikka Marsalla. The chicken in each was lovely and the sauce was very tasty. We also had rice and a Peshwari nan bread. We loved it all!As we were on holiday we also decided to have a dessert! We shared a piece of lemon cheesecake. We washed the lot down with a bottle of house red wine.The food, the service and the atmosphere was great. The meal was reasonably priced and we would recommend it most highly.

I've just enjoyed a two night family break in Scarborough and took the opportunity to sample ASK as they have no locations close to where we live. The decision to dine there was incentivised by the offer of a second main course for £1 which resulted in a total bill of just over £33 for two of us sharing a garlic bread and a bottle of Chianti with pasta dishes for our main course. This represents excellent value especially due to the location and the quality of both the food & the service. Our children (10 & 3) did not eat but were kept quite content by the brilliant Stabilo crayons provided for them. All in all a first class experience despite a bad start caused by a young child screaming his head off at a nearby table. We dined early along with several other families and I suppose that this type of scene is only to be expected in a holiday resort which is deprived of the usual selection of national eateries.

We wished we lived in Scarborough!! We love Italian restaurants and shortly after booking our two night family break in the resort we researched online where we could dine and narrowed our choice down to just three that had received above average reviews. So on our second night we had a dilemna for having visited our two remaining options we were slightly discouraged by the prospect of a 45 minute wait for a table with two young kids. Our alternative choice did not have this problem but was a fair trek away and did not offer fish & fingers for the kids! So consequently we took the popularity of Florios (encouraged by the happy hour policy) to be a good sign and having been prepared to wait we were delighted when the manager, Alberto, managed to find us a table for immediate use. We had one of the best nights we have ever had in an Italian restaurant - the food was absolutely faultless, the atmosphere was brilliant and the total bill at £41 was simply amazing. I have to say that my penne gratinate was the best I have ever tasted. We are seriously considering a day trip by train from Manchester just to have lunch here that's how good it is.

Dear sir I visit Scarborough regularly throughout the year as i have family there myself and my family when down always go to scalby manor it is very good value for money my children love going there the staff are very polite and cant do enough for you everything is cooked to perfection i have never heard a complaint in all the times i have been there i would recommend it to anyone

My Partner and I went to the Copperhorse for a meal on Friday 11th February. We are members of the Tastecard club and when looking on the Internet for nearby restaurants we found The Copper Horse. Both the food and service were excellent, and the restaurant itself was very comfortable, with an amazing array of Pantomime/Show memorabilia. We both had all three courses, however as the portion sizes are not shy 2 courses would have been suffice. Although large meals, the presentation and taste are definitely not compromised, and I would recommend to anyone who loves great British food, freshly prepared.

My hubby and i visited The fish pan last month and i had the best piece of fish i have ever had in my life. Great value for money and fast friendly efficient service. 10/10

Very good venue and location, spa facilities very good.... all round very nice place

Not as special as it thinks - it's a fairly standard Italian with hints of Frankie and Bennys - but provided a nice evening nonetheless. Desserts were especially good.

Florrios is always reliable - nice italian food, lovely atmosphere, families very welcome!! I think this is an ideal place to eat with family and friends - the early bird session between 5 - 7 also helps count the cost! Well worth a trip

I always use this restaurant when in Scarborough, excellent fish & chips, smart waitresses, prompt service. slightly above average prices but more than worth it, although they do lunchtime & senior citizen specials. a must visit for lovers of our national dish

The food at The Brompton Forge has always been very good but on this visit was even better ,flavoursome and interesting,well presented with excellent service. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO EVERYONE.

An Amazing night out with my friends and family. This restaurant offers value for money and a fun ambience and good quality drinks. The staff are professional and efficient, and catered to our needs very well. They offer a clean and a fun Chinese. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Scarborough. My friends, family and I will definitely be going back again!!

Tuscanny Too, on Filey Road on South Cliff does really lovely food. Enjoyed it here.

Really lovely food. A bit pricier than the usual Italian places in Scarborough but the food is in a different class. Definitely worth a visit.

When spending a few days in Scarborough a couple of weeks ago we went to Scalby Manor on our first evening for the £3.50 carvery - such good value that we went each evening while in the area. Although always busy and most tables taken the turnaround was excellent. Staff always quick to clear tables. The veg and meat never ran out - always restocking. Would definitely recommend.
