Very nice restaurant.. service staffs and foods was top class fully enjoyed

We’ve eaten here quite a few times and we’re never disappointed. It’s a great menu with a broad range of prices and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. One of the people in our group had very specific dietary requirements which I hadn’t realised when I booked. Without any fuss the waitress went and spoke to the chef and came back with a few options. Excellent as always and we’d definitely recommend it, but make sure you pre book to avoid disappointment!

This is absolutely the place to go for a fish restaurant in Scarborough! I always return. Plenty to choose from including a fantastic fish chowder and/or fish pie. Super staff. Great views. Plus, you can book online so you never need be disappointed.

We were celebrating both our retirement and my birthday.Food was excellent so was the service,staff friendly and courteous. The perfect way to celebrate....we will most definitely use the Lookout on the Pier next time we're in Scarborough...

Lovely position. Seafood v hot and fresh but not well cooked. I love fat but this was swimming in butter. Service friendly, well-meaning but amateurish.

Our place to goto when we visit Scarborough. The food is beautiful & plentiful.... yorkshire portions at its best. We both shared the bucket & spade sharer for starters which was so tasty. I then had the small chowder in a cob, hubby had the fishpie & half mine. Would definitely recommend too anyone visiting Scarborough, though book before you go as it's a popular place & fills up fast. Service as always very good. Cannot wait till our next visit.

Absolutely love this place. If you want fresh seafood in nice surroundings a little bit away from the crowds, this is for you. It’s a bit of a hidden gem with great views of the Scarborough sea front.

We ate a very fine fish platter with lobster. Everything was very fresh and well prepared. Just excellent! The service was very friendly. The wine selection could be improved.

We ate at the Lookout on the May Day Bank Holiday having been several times before. The food, ambiance, and overall experience was as usual first class. We had the mixed seafood platter (served with chips) and a lobster between two. it We had a great time and we hope to visit again soon.

I thought that I had done with pre work breakfast when I left Manchester….. but then I found the lookout! Great breakfast (best kippers!). At half the price of Manchester!
