Ferryhill Tavern & Devanha Lounge – AberdeenGreat looking pub/restaurant in a hotel right on the River Spey. Looked after my son, dog and I very well. Treats and a bowl for the beast and good food and beer for us. A superior burger and classy sausage. A lovely walk down the river afterwards
Copper Dog – AberdeenWhat an amazing place The Fife Arms is. Situated in the beautiful village of Braemar in the Highlands its been renovated by art deals and the place has huge character and original artworks as you'd expect. Still in keeping with its history and location though. Stunning. Great food menu in their pub and a lovely real ale too. Will go back to stay next year!
Fife Arms Hotel – AberdeenGreat food, great atmosphere, the best restaurant in city !
Yatai Izakaya – AberdeenMyself, friends & family have been coming to mi amore since it first opened 7 years ago. The staff are extremely friendly and are always willing to go that extra mile for their customers. Its extremely cheap which is crazy because the food is some of the best I've ever tasted. I have never had a bad meal! Wide variety of food and drinks on the menu as well. We often bring my nieces & nephews in and they are well taken care of. The owner is such a gem. Supper friendly and always has a big smile. Couples date night, family get together, hen/stag night? its perfect for every occasion. Family friendly business.
Mi Amore – AberdeenMy parents and I ate here on Sunday 19th, very disappointing. The 3 of us ordered soup and 2 brown bread 1 white. Firstly we got 2 white bread 1 brown. Soup was clearly out of a can and had been watered down. Main course ordered 2 macaroni & cheese with chips and 1 order of Haddock & chips. The macaroni came with very little cheese sauce, the chips were clearly out of a packet and the peas, with the fish, were clearly out of a can. Table service was amateurish also. No place likes receiving poor reviews. My advice before you get another review not to your liking, get a new chef, simple.
Learney Arms Hotel – AberdeenThe food and presentation is wonderful but its an indian restaurant serving high quality food and deserves a Rosette.
Green Inn – AberdeenWas staying at the Brittania Hotel which is across the road, but did all my eating and drinking at the Staging post. Great wee boozer, friendly staff and good value for money.
The Staging Post – AberdeenGreat wee pub, staff fab - Jill and Val....... The Fab Four from Hamilton.
Crown and Anchor Bar – AberdeenExcellent quality Thai cuisine and service, a perfect choice.
Centurion – AberdeenCarluccios in Aberdeen is an amazing place. love it!
Carluccios – AberdeenA great place to come and see a film or just hang out in the cafe/bar in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Serving traditional and International food from light snacks to full meals including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
Belmont Filmhouse – AberdeenI had quick visit, haddock supper very good. Lived in New Deer Main street while ago, best luck.
Tasty Fryer – AberdeenHad an amazing meal here, great value, great choice and healthy options. Decided to stay much longer as it was such a good atmosphere.
Amicus Apple – Aberdeenfirst visit before Christmas, was impressed with welcome of staff and food was excellent.
Characters Cafe Bar – AberdeenWe ate here teh other week..the food was the worst kind of poor bar food..deep fried rubbish..the place smeeled of pee and sick..the service was poor and rude..the place will filled with drunks at 7.30..I would not recommend to anyone
Siberia Wodka Bar – AberdeenStunning setting on the banks of the River Dee at Banchory. There were cosy fires when we went for afternoon tea. 3 tiered cake stands had scones with jam and cream, mini meringues, carrot cake, fruit cake and tray bakes. In the process of being upgraded by the new owners, so very excited to see the results. Definitely somewhere to take your visitors.
Banchory Lodge Hotel – AberdeenHad a meal there begining of the month. My son had the Scotch Egg to start, well over cooked or reheated (awful)My husband had the Moules Marinier to start which was okay. I had the roast beef dinner, one of the specials (I have done better myself and I'm no chef) I did ask for the welldone part of the roast, the meat was tough, and you really had to cut through. The yorkies certainly were not freshly made, must have been reheated or in the micro. The other mains were Monkfish Scampi (which was rather dry and the chips over cooked) and the Buffalo Chicken, (over cooked chips also)The three desserts were okay.At the end of the main course the waitress asked how our meal was. I told her I was disappointed with the beef and yorkies, on her return (after a word with the chef) she said the beef was tough because I had asked for the well done part. SO IT WAS MY FAULT! Really. Our bill for food £67.19. Which I don't grudge, if I can walk out and say, well that was worth every penny.Sorry Mains we will vote with our feet and won't be back.
