A small, friendly restaurant with seating for around 30. Good menu with freshly made food of the highest order. Book early as it gets extremely busy at weekends. Does take-away too but be prepared to wait at busy times.

Little India – SheffieldBloody gorgeous! The Kashmiri Lamb Bhuna is the best curry I've ever tasted. Definitely recommended
Ashoka Indian Restaurant – Sheffielddreadful do not eat in this have no idea how to cook food
Stag Hotel, The – SheffieldWe have eaten here many times and it is absolutely fantastic. We have never had a poor meal or bad service. The staff are attentive, without being overbearing, and the ambience is excellent. You will have to book in advance for a weekend table - once you have been you will know why. A truly excellent dining experience.
Papa Ciccio Restaurant – SheffieldI would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food at a reasonable price. Mama mia,s is welcoming, cosy and very friendly. There is a great menu with so much to choose from, you will be spoilt for choice. All the food is cooked fresh and tastes out of this world. There is a great selection of wines on offer, and the house wine is a steal at £8.80 a litre. So go along and find out what you've been missing out on.
Mamma Mia Pepe – SheffieldFriendly and funky place, serving nice and tasty food. I had the veggie option, a piece of grilled goats cheese with rocket served between 2 flat mushrooms with some french fries. My girlfriend had pumpkin soupin (surprisingly tasty) with a chunky piece of granary. Didn't have one but the hot chocolates seemed popular - going to have one next time!
Forum Cafe Bar – SheffieldA great mix grill/surf 'n' turf. Gets very busy on sundays so be prepared to wait for your table. All in all quite good but they should do something about the STICKY TABLES.
Chequers Inn, The – SheffieldNot much cop to be honest - very expensive, I remember it was something like £1 for 1 popadom plus the fat git that owns it is rude and obnoxious!
Ashoka Indian Restaurant – Sheffieldwe really enjoyed our meal. The price was very reasonable, it was a cosy and friendly atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
Mamma Mia Pepe – SheffieldBooked a table for 8 people to celebrate a 70th birthday.Table booked for 7.30pm put us on a table next to 10 rowdy school children celebrating a birthday who had no parental supervision.Waited 1 hour for the starters then kept waiting for the main meal by this time we had had enough so after numerous complaints we got up and left.I for one will not be visiting this restaurant again.
Mulan – SheffieldI would like to warn people about this Frankie and Benny's the staff are very good but the manager made our visit uncomfortable I attended with my wife and two children we were pushed in to the bar although empty table were available. The manageress had told us that we could not sit there as these tables were not for children. as we waited for our table a couple of business men came in and were sat directly in to the empty tables. This is definitely not as child friendly as other Frankie & and Benny's I have visited. I found the manageress rude and unwelcoming to me and family. I would say that her attitude changed when ever a man in suit came through the door. The food was ok nothing to write home about and under portioned from you would get at other Frankie and benny's. the waitress was very pleasant and seemed to be scared of the manageress.
Frankie and Bennys – Sheffielda lovely friendly restaurant, excellent food, and service. The Owner, Richard is an excellent host. Very hard working! The food is fresh and very well presented!! One of the best Indian restaurants in Sheffield!
Almas Indian Brasserie – SheffieldVery nice atmosphere in the evening and pleasant friendly staff. Would take friends for drinks and maybe for some quick tapas. Definitely not if you want to make an impression for an evening meal. Presentation was good enough and quantities generous but a lot in the food seemed not cooked on the spot. With only a few options for main meal I would expected them to be completely mastered and top quality. Shame, as there isn't a huge variety for latin American food in Leeds.
Las Iguanas – SheffieldI arrived on my own this last Saturday ..after a glass of wine at the Hare and Hounds pub across the road . I entered and asked the waiter i there was a table for one?..he went away to ask the manager ..who came over and said No ! ..there was no reason given ..there were half a dozen people in the restaurant.. so i went away and telephoned the Ashoka ..a much smaller restaurant ..and said please sir we await your arrival..after which i had a very pleasant meal am still waiting for a reason .
Almas Indian Brasserie – SheffieldI really like this place. Clean, bright and busy. Food is very good, quality ingredients prepared well. Uncomplicated and pleasantly informal. I particularly like the frequently changing specials and how they get crossed off as they are eaten throughout the evening. Good wine list too, efficient service. Area can get quite rowdy in evenings due to student pubs in vicinity. Also a good place to go for drinks during the day. Does not disappoint.
Thyme Cafe – Sheffieldoutstanding food an service
Induz Restaurant – SheffieldDamons was excellent! Well done Damons keep up the good work!!!
Damons – SheffieldI went to Kito's last year with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. Normally with a group of 12 people you'd expect at least one person unhappy with their choice of food, or for somebodies order to be wrong etc, not a t kitos'! They scored a perfect 12 out of 12 , we had a great time, felt looked after, delicious food, and very reasonable bill! Highly recommended.
