Hello, It would be a crime not to leave a comment after a superb meal me and my family shared. I would like to thank Harry Khinda and the staff and also the chefs for making our experience so enjoyable. I chose Mustard Aloo Gobi as my main meal, my tastebuds soared! I can now say it is my most favourite meal. My family shared the same experience, and overall it was a fantastic and memorable night out. We will definitely be returning in the near future!

Ive been dining here for 14 years. The best curry house around. Cheap is not the word. Inexpensive value for money, yes. Ideal for people who cant be bothered with all the fake, nice ,hello sir nonsence. Order. get quickly. scoff, leave happy and not annoyed. The food speaks for itself.

We chose Zaara's based on the Sugarvine recommendation as we were passing through Bradford and wanted to be sure of a quality curry. We were not disappointed:every aspect of our experience was of an equally high standard. Each dish had an individual character and was tender, well flavoured and fragrant. The service was excellent:good attention to detail yet maintaining an informal ambience, complemented by the stylish and contemporary decor. We were travelling with a 4 year old who was made equally welcome. Our son loves curry but there are English items on the menu for the less adventurous. The only area that needs more attention is the dessert menu which, in keeping with most Indian restaurants, is rather limited. However, Zaara's was also excellent value so we we will probably make a detour to Bradford just to eat there again!

Been here for the buffet a number of times. First 2 times were in groups and I wasn't that impressed - too many dishes seemed decidedly un-Asian and the prawn dishes tasted off. However, have since learned to pick and choose what I like and as a result have had some great value, great quality meals. The vegetarian dishes in particular are excellent and there tends to be a couple of non-mainstream meat dishes too. They no longer do the prawns! Thoroughly recommend and they are good with kids too.

The food was not nearly as good as the other reviews suggest. My starter was rabbit terrine served on a couple of slices of toast. The chunk of terrine was very bland - very like a bought-in commercial product. (My wife had ordered a smoked salmon pancake which turned out to be a couple of slices of smoked salmon wrapped around a sort of potato croquette!) My main course was King Scallops and Crabmeat served on over-used (blackened around the edges) clam shells topped off with cheese and grilled - for far too long. I had a strong suspicion that the scallops were frozen and the crabmeat was commercial. The cheese used for topping was far too strong and completely overpowered the taste of seafood. It was accompanied by a loose ball of salad leaves - mostly parsley and what I think was rocket. A good deal of the leaves were black and soggy - just like when you leave leave salad in the packet for far too long in the fridge at home and have to throw it away - and there was grit around the parsley leaves where they hadn't been washed properly. I drew this to the attention of the floor manager who went to speak to the chef. She came back to say that the chef had said that the appearance had something to do with pesto (I didn't understand what he was trying to say and there wasn't any pesto on the leaves). I could tell she wasn't convinced either and she did apologise - but didn't offer to change the soggy mess! We paid £2 extra (very reasonable) for two portions of vegetables. The vegetables were only briefly cooked just as I like them (except the leeks which are uneatable when only flash fried). For wine, I chose a New Zealand Pinot Gris which was very pleasant and at £20 a little dear, but par for the course. La Rue could be good if only they would use good fresh produce instead of buying in pre-made food and if they took a bit more care. Rabbit Terrine isn't difficult to make from scratch and should be very tasty. It's not difficult to wash salad properly and throw out stuff that's past it's best. And if a customer shows you a salad with black soggy lumps of rotten leaves in it - for goodness sake, don't make excuses for the chef, apologise and change it!

First time we tried to go it was on the weekend and they looked at us like idiots because we hadn't booked in advance. We went back on a weeknight and it seating was no problem.

I have eaten here many times and found the food to be excellent, plenty of choice and large portions. The service and ambience is very good. I would recommend this to anyone wanting something a bit more that pub food.

The Old Tramshed – Shipley
Old Friends

Perhaps slightly more expensive than other close by but this is balanced out by the quality of the food, the quantity and the ambience. Have been using this restaurant for close on 20years plus and the quality has improved with time. Tony, his wife and his staff do their utmost to ensure that the food. atmosphere is typically Italian.

This is my favourite restaurant in the whole of the Leeds and Bradford area. The food is always excellent and the service has improved greatly in the last 18 months, it's now a pleasure to go there and be looked after by someone with a personality! I don't know anywhere else where you can go and have three courses of exceptional quality food for £16.75. Fantastic value for money.

i visited the Old Tramshed on sat 17 march. Its the first time ive dined their, I normally just go for a drink, and me and my three friends were very impressed!! The service we received from the moment we arrived was excellent!! The best way to describe it was Genuine! We had pre-dinner drinks in the diners lounge and then went upstairs on the balcony where the atmosphere was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and ive already booked again

Good neighbourhood curry house round the corner from Shipley station. Eccentric menu with a few innovative dishes on it, good cooking (the mix tikka starter is a must, they've got a real way with grilled meat!) and a warm welcome. I've had a few very good curries here on the way home from work - what more can you want than a warm welcome and a well-judged cheap curry?

Been here a few times and always had a fantastic meal and good service. They do three courses for 16.95 every night except Saturday which is amazing value for money. Good wine list as well.

Maybe the cheapest curry house in Bradford? a meal for two inc starters and main or approx £23! As far as cheap restaurants go, they offer excellent value for money. cheap and cheerful.

A very good traditional family Italian restaurant. Excellent for a special occasion. If you have been several times and you want to try something different try something off the specials board.

This is a good, solid Italian. The seafood pasta is especially nice.
