Excellent food, great service and staff by far the best restaurant in shirley/solihull

Food is exceptional with the taste of India in every mouthful. Each meal was presented with the care it deserves. The chef has a delicate touch with all spices complimenting each other perfectly. If you are thinging of coming here after an evening full of lager don't bother go to the shapla or oasis, this meal needs to be appreciated.

Great food, best restaurant in shirley by far for indian food

Shah's has relocated to Shirley. Upon arrival you are greeted by the colourful decor. The staff are extremely attentive and the food is just superb. We have eaten there almost twice a week since they opened about 5 weeks ago. The other added benefit is that you can take your own booze.

WE HAD A FAMILY MEAL TODAY 10 OF US AT THE SUNDAY LUNCH BUFFET, AS ALL WAYS THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS GREAT.

This is the first time I have visited Shahs restaurant in Acocks Green, I must say the waiters were very attentive and friendly as they never failed to impress me. I also ordered a Tandoori chicken Special with nan bread for my main course I must say it was packed with flavour and spice which again never failed to disappoint.

We have visited this restaurant on several occasions now and each time, we have not been disappointed. The cuisine favours healthy eating and all the ingredients are fresh and cooked in the minimum of oil. The chefs can be viewed busy cooking in the kitchen and the modern dining style, together with a friendly service completes a very enjoyable eating experience. A "little gem" in Acocks Green. Highly recommended. Oh, and you can take your own alcohol as well!

Below average food....there are far better restaurants in the area!!

Went last night,it was rubbish,meals not up to usual standard,cobs were frozen,just a very poor evening.Please pass these comments on I would be interested -no orange either

Wouldnt recommend this pub. we visited on 11/11/10. the steak night. Couldn't fault the quality of steak but the chips were so insipid and cold, no veg included and not told they should be purchased extra. Bar man even said the chips quality had been mentioned before!! wouldn't go back again.

Best steak anywhere great family atmosphere. Decor typically continental. Been here many times and still think it's the best place for miles. Excellent service would recommend it to anyone.

Best tandoori restaurant in Shirley. Food always excellent. Staff all funny and friendly. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Where can i start, we have never eaten here before. My partner had the fillet steak (to die For!) and i had the squid starter with chili and tomatoes added, (recommendation by the waiter). I am still dreaming of the food today and we are definitely going back. This is the best food we have had in a long time !!!

A superb Italian restaurant serving authentic Italian Food. Great to see an Italian chef in the kitchen. Well worth a visit if you like good food. Service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble. AAAAA+
