So pleased to be able to go out for lunch again. Food lovely and hot. Staff friendly and helpful. Not the prettiest beer garden but perfectly acceptable under the circumstances. Looking forward to being able to go indoors.

As a couple we were really keen to visit the tilley raven on Monday 12 April, on arrival we were really disappointed, we felt a lot more could of been done in preparation, especially when the weather was really cold. I felt there should of been some outside heating, an offer of blankets. The tables weren't wiped over, dusty and dirty. Not good value for food and drink, be aware that what ever you order add on 20% as the bill has the vat on top. However, the staff were really lovely and helpful, just a great shame it could of been made better with a bit more thought and effort.

Sunday 13 sept 13.10 hours. Sunday dinner was good but the veg was a bit hard. The pudding I did not enjoy. The service from behind the bar was very poor the barman was in the bar and not looking out for people in the dining room. The pub was nice and clean.

A party of nine went tues 6th oct for our friends birthday. Our waiter, ( Tim ) was excellent, he made the birthday girl feel really special. I must add I'm really fussy about my steaks, but it was cooked to perfection, just the way I asked it to be done. The chef (Tom) even came out to see if it was cooked to my liking. The service and the food were outstanding, and it's the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. The staff need a big pat on the back.

We have recently had a meal at the Wingfield. We all really enjoyed the meal. the food was served on hot plate and was fresh. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. We will be returning very soon

I had a meal recently at the wingfield arms this is not the first meal that we have had at the pub. We are quite regular there. We always have a great meal. We always enjoy our food and the atmosphere. There is a great local community feel to the place. There Is a lovely walk near the to walk off the large portion sizes. The food is very reasonable priced and a fantastic price!!! Would recommend to both friends and family!

my family and i have recently had a meal at the wingfield arms. we were greeted by very polite and helpful staff who showed us to our table. we were informed there would be a wait of 30 mins on food as they were catering for a large party in their main function room. we didn't mind this at all we were shown the menu and i was surprised on the amount of choice and the cost of very thing. (very good quality food for a reasonable price). i had ordered the steak which came with a steak dressing chips and veg. it was cooked to perfection. the portion size were on the large side but i didn't mind that one little bit. we all had dessert which was presently beautifully. the whole meal we felt very looked after by the staff and once we were relaxing after food the chef came out of the kitchen to chat to us and see if everything was okay. we felt that this was a great personal touch. we have recommended to friends already and we will be returning very soon!!!!!!

I have been to the Wingfield Arms recently for carvery. The food was all homemade and the beef was so tender, all the veg was cooked to perfection and tasted very fresh. The gravy was out of this world with amazing flavours coming through.we received fantastic service from the waiting on staff. all staff members served with a smile and were very polite and friendly. we also had a desert i personally had the cheese cake which was also homemade and was beautiful. cost was very reasonable and we will all be going back soon over the Christmas period.

I have recently eaten at the Wingfield Arms with a group of friends and think it is one of the best pubs for food in the area! Set just outside the main town it has a beautiful and well kept beer garden with somewhere safe and away from the road for children to play. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and the food was great! Servings were generous and the bill was nice and low. Couldn't believe what a bargain it was! Will be recommending to friends and family and will be back ourselves to visit to try a Sunday Carvery very soon!

My Husband and I had a meal at the Wingfield recently on a Friday evening. The restaurant was very busy with a large party to also cater for and I am happy to say that this did not effect the service for us. We both had 2 courses including the steak for my husband and it was all cooked perfectly and to our liking. Staff were polite and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

We have recently had a meal at the wingfield arms traveling back from the west midlands. service was very good, polite and friendly staff. The wait on food was 40 mins due to the numbers in the restaurant and we had walked in on the off chance of a meal. we had both ordered steaks which were both cooked to our liking served with a choice of potatoes and salad or veg. food was fantastic and value for money. we did not order a dessert as we were too full but all desserts were homemade and 2.95 each. we would recommend this pub for food and the friendly atmosphere to any of our friends!!!

What a fantastic place to dine! Beautiful building. Warm, friendly atmosphere with helpful, polite staff. And food to die for. If you are in Shrewsbury this restaurant is a must.
