Have used these before a few times and the food has been OK. Used them today and the food and service was awful! Took two hours for the food to be delivered even after I called to chase. They did compensate us with a free bottle of coke but the food was not up to scratch - cheap cuts of lamb were used in the curry so that it tasted leathery. The naan we ordered was so burned that we couldn't eat it. Will not use these again as there are plenty of other curry shops in this area of London.

Recommended for sure, what a place, amazing fresh food, superb service, all you can ask in a restaurant. You have got to try it, even if you have to travel, it's worth it. They have a basement lounge also, with live music and comedy.

This is our favourite local restaurant. Does everything a local should! Lovely staff who recognise you, cool little bar for drinks and really really lovely food - the most important bit! ! can safely recommend it if you live in the area though its a bit off the beaten track.

Do not touch this lot with a barge pole. Only delivered half the food about two hours after ordering. Food average at best when it arrived. Shocking service when pointed these problems out. Do not use...

Fucking pathetic service, we waited 3/4 hour for three breakfasts only to be told they'd forgotten to place our order. When apologised to by someone who'd spent the last 15 minutes reading the paper I asked for free drinks to be met with a 'Sorry?' as if he didn't understand the notion of customer etiquette. We were told our food would be with us in 5 to 10 minutes, after 10 minutes we left. For breakfasts at 8 quid a time I expect much, much better. Utterly disgraceful, avoid at all costs.

I would strongly recommend that any residents or visitors to East Dulwich should give this place a very very wide berth unless they want to be abused. The service is worse than abominable. We were offered one table and we suggested we might sit at another. "No" we were told firmly and pointed to another. The menus were not handed to us but rested against the wall with extreme bad grace. After an inordinate delay the owner finally arrived to take our order. We placed relatively simple orders with the owner including basmati rice and mushroom pilau rice. When the rice was delivered we asked the waitress whether this was mushroom rice. She said it wasn't. I remonstrated with her that we had ordered mushroom pilau. Rather than just accept that a mistake had been made she grumpily left the table and returned with the order sheet and told us in no uncertain terms that we had ordered pilau rice. Eventually the owner arrived with correct rice. I explained how appalled I had been at the waitress's behaviour and that I had not experienced such bad service in any restaurant anywhere in the world. Rather than apologise he just told us we had not ordered mushroom pilau rice but just pilau. Unfortunately nobody at the restaurant appears to have been trained in basic customer service and the customer is always wrong here. When the owner presented the bill he was extremely personally offensive and we quickly paid and left. I indicated that I would never darken the door of this establishment ever again. After we left the owner pursued and further verbally abused us on Lordship Lane and described me as "arseholish". He also rather strangely suggested that we had never been invited to the restaurant in the first place - we had thought the restaurant was open to the public - clearly this is not the case in this peculiar corner of East Dulwich. If there is nowhere else to eat in East Dulwich you might want to risk it but beware of the owner and the staff. This so-called restaurant is trading on its previously good reputation and I strongly urge you to give it a miss. I would add that I am very disappointed to have to write this review having given this restaurant my custom for in excess of ten years.

This restaurant? A massive NO! NO! NO! I came in with a friend to try it out and noticed we were the only people and so I asked ' Hello! Are you guys open?' The lady whom I believe is the owner, simply barked us back 'Why, does it say close at the door?' Woah, we were simply taken aback by her upfront-ness rude behavior. Then we gave her the benefit of the doubt and stayed and sat as she came towards us placing two sticky and dirty menus. With an accompanied massive sigh. As if to say she's doing us a favor. Then we felt it was really unpleasant and she is quite unfriendly. And so we changed our mind. We stood up as my friend said 'Sorry we changed our minds.' She then again barked us back 'You always change your mind!' By the way this is a woman whom we never met and the place we never been once before. And so I replied to her by saying 'Because you're very friendly.' And guess how she replied to me? Simply an agressive 'F*** Y**!' We were shocked and I came back from the opened door saying 'What did you just say?' Again, she simply replied and repeated 'F*** Y**!' I then replied to her 'Who are you to talk to me like that?' She replied by trying to give me the reason why she swore at me by saying: 'Because you always change your mind!' Which obviously is not a good reason at all for swearing at someone you don't know. Then realised I was talking to a mad person. Although, I was really shocked and upset by her rudness. We were laughing of shock and disbelief outside, whilst a family was reading their menu by the window. Surely, the kids heard her saying those profanity words to us. How delightful. Strange it's still running though. If only people would know. By the way, by saying 'barking', I really mean it, as if she was answering someone back in the middle of an argument. P.S. The dialogue here is the exact dialogue exchanged and delivered during the entire situation.

Very Disapointed with this restaurant. The Web site promised great things and delivered nothing. Service was poor and the food was cold. The Menu did not feature anything as described on the website The only redeeming feature was the signiture chocolate pudding which was cooked to order and turned up exactly how it was described.

I enjoyed my dinner out at Feng Sushi. The quality of fish was nice, and the sushi was of a good quality - although slightly unremarkable. The location in Fulham was very small but clean and orderly. The staff was busy, mostly with take-away orders, but polite. It had a feeling of being not traditionally japanese and the staff and chef were unfamiliar with basic sushi. For example they had scallop sushi, so I asked for a scallop handroll. This seemed rather perplexing to them, and I worried when the sushi chef came out to ask if I would like teriyaki sauce on it. I explained how it was usually made (light japanese mayo, roe, and a little spice) you can also have fresh cucumber. The chef made them very well and I appreciated his time and effort. Higher quality than Yo Sushi, less expensive than Nobu, and overall very good, yet I am not rushing to go back. Dinner for two: sushi, tempura, sake: around GBP 70
