Very good food and excellent service in a friendly pub.

Very enjoyable evening, great music and our roast dinner was tasty great protion sixe and arrived at the table steaming hot. What more could anyone ask for. Thanks to the team, great service all round

First time back for a while, still excellent, great service, food and beer, highly recommended.

Platform Tavern is hands down our favourite pub in Southampton. During lockdown we had a number of roast dinners delivered from there and the staff were always so helpful and accommodating. We decided to head there in-person as we'd heard so many good things about the place itself. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is just so relaxed - they're definitely not in any rush to get you in, fed and out like some places. There's regular live music which we love too!

So glad to be back at the Platform ! Original band had to cry off but Stewart used his contacts to drum up more than adequate replacements, such professional musicians ! Food in past years has always been fine without being exceptional, but new chef has upped the quality and style noticeably! My pork belly and partner’s red snapper from the specials board both excellent, well presented and so full of flavour. This and such friendly courteous staff makes for a thoroughly enjoyable experience, especially when accompanied by superb live music ! Looking forward to much more of the same in the coming months ! We had a great meal at the Platform on a Friday night. The staff were attentive and the food was great. A good selection, large portions and very tasty. I recommend the fish and chips. The lasagne was a huge portion but too spicy for my dining partner. Will definitely go again, especially on a night when there is live music.

The Platform has to be one of my favourite pubs of all time and I've lived all over the UK. It has a great atmosphere, the staff are always super friendly, there's live music and if that's not enough they do bloody good food. They offer great quality pub grub options plus a really special Specials board with some super fine dining options. I've been many times now over the past few years and it never disappoints.

Food was terrible. One of our guests could not eat anything it was so bad. Starters all rated the same. Steaks cold & disgusting. Sorry guys but it’s the truth!

Excellent Service, Quality and Quantity

Great pub food and reasonably priced menu and drinks. Great atmosphere, busy with a band in the other room and overall positive, relaxed feeling. We'll eat there again.

Good pub food, great atmosphere and a bonus to have live music. Thanks to the staff who seated us away from the band-but still within earshot-so that we could catch up with old friends who were in town.

This was a first visit to Lemoni. The waiter was very pleasant but the food I had (turkey and pork) was quite dry and salty! I'm afraid that has put me off from a return visit.
