The Hinkler – SouthamptonOur first visit, breakfast food was just warm eggs dry and hard. It works out dear as you have to pay extra for mushrooms and coffee. But I must say that Debbie and staff are very good we do like our food hotter. This was 9am so the food should be hotter than yours was.
Alma Inn – SouthamptonComplaints about voucher card. I went to my local pub Heath of Dibden. It was my birthday so I had a card for a free birthday meal. That's why I booked. They said I had to get copy of meal to give to them not just the card. Was very disappointed with this. Could of gone somewhere else and got a birthday meal free. Unhappy customers.
Heath Hotel – Brewers Fayre – SouthamptonHad a huge dinner here, lovely home cooked style, everyone got something they wanted and everyone cleared their plate. The seating area is very nicely decorated, comfortable with a very nice atmosphere. All staff were helpful, quick and friendly. The view is very serene and interesting, unobscured views and lots of crabbing, all equipment can be bought via tuck shop in pub grounds. Great place, kids loved it. would definitely recommend.
The Anchor Inn – SouthamptonHaving just had a carvery at this branch all was going very well until one of your waiters, who I can say was quite rude, told my husband that he could not smoke his vaper trail in your restaurant. There was nothing to say he could not use it and no one complained so we will not be using your restaurant again.
The Toby Carvery – SouthamptonWe first went to Karas when I was pregnant, a couple of years ago. I wasn't enjoying food at the time, due to odd taste buds (pregnancy mouth). I had a Russian salad for my starter, which I thoroughly enjoyed and to follow I had the most tastiest lamb with rice. The lamb was so succulent and the rice so fragrant, I didn't want my meal to end. For dessert I opted for baklava (as I do have a bit of a sweet tooth) and at this point I was in heaven. It was so sweet and not dry as I have had in some places. The service was excellent and it was lovely to watch my meat being prepared in front of me. Since then we have made Karas our place to eat. Would recommend and have recommended to all my friends
Kara Restaurant – SouthamptonCould you please just let me have a list of Harvesters in Southampton????
Harvester – SouthamptonI visited for my birthday with my partner a surprise, a night with entertainment, brilliant food, brilliant atmosphere, a must place to visit
Grand Cafe – SouthamptonHappy a lovely family afternoon could not of asked for a better brithday Many Thank Michelle xx
Banana Wharf Hamble – SouthamptonAvoid! Rude, antagonistic and overbearing landlord; sexist and misogynistic. Food terrible, beer okay.
Obelisk Hotel – SouthamptonThe staff were really helpful and made me a gluten free pizza to take away. When I got home hopefully the pizza was a bit cold and chewy but still very tasty.
Bella Italia – SouthamptonI have been coming to this restaurant for nearly 30 years!! We now come at least twice a month. We have seen three changes in management/ownership but always the style and menu have remained pretty much unchanged. Their pizzas cannot be bettered in my opinion, their signature garlic bread is indulgent and delicious. The atmosphere is warm and easy going, child friendly but not Unruly. I cannot praise this unassuming, charming and soul satisfying little restaurant enough. It is part of our family tradition and we look forward to every visit.
Piccolo Mondo – Southamptonincredibly good value and service. never had a bad meal, nor heard one complained about. location is brilliant as well... worth the visit everytime
The Anchor Inn – SouthamptonWe visit Christina's about once a fortnight , usually on Sunday but sometimes during the week. Go for the Pensioners mostly with a bottle of wine. You just cannot beat the value for money and standard / quality of the meals. We live the other side of Southampton and willingly travel to it.
Christina’s Restaurant – SouthamptonExcellent pub with excellent food ,very popular get there early for the Carvery
Alma Inn – Southamptongood service, very helpful staff, clean and tidy overall. couldn't be better
The Toby Carvery – Southamptonfantastic restaurant, lovely food and fab prices, tonight was my 2nd visit and i am now considering having this restaurant for my wedding reception in may 2011 .
Elias Restaurant – SouthamptonHave been visiting Marchwood each year for the last 10 years. We used to visit the Bold Forester for the kiddies garden, but as the kiddies grew up we frequented the eating area. It was quite bad, so avoided it like the plague UNTIL THIS SUMMER. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Friendly and welcoming. Good value meals. We initially popped in for a pint after a bike ride and after a look around and chat to the owner returned the following day - a group of 8 - and thoroughly enjoyed the carvery. We enjoyed it so much that my husband and I returned a couple of days later for late lunch (about 2.30pm) when we enjoyed a Mixed Grill and Wexford Steak. Only wish we lived closer so we could make it our local
