Vegan Food is METALLLLLZ! Took a trip to Stoked over the weekend , I’ve seen them popping up over my Insta for the last couple of months and when I saw they were hosting a metal night it was a no brainier! We were greeted by a treasure trove of quirky memorabilia , the smell of woodsmoke , candle lit tables and rockin friendly staff .. not to mention badass tunes. We went for : Limited Edition Ghost Wings - made from oyster mushrooms coated in the crispiest batter and a hellishly hot sauce , these were SO good , I couldn’t stop ,even though I was seeing double! Hattie B’s Fried “Chicken” - the texture on these buttermilk Seitan tenders was phenomenal and I don’t know what wizard created the Sweet Nashville Hot Oil but it was amazing , crispy Cajun fries and pickles. Mac & Cheese - no explanation needed , Creamy and delicious , not to mention the crispy topping! Also an honourable mention the the themed cocktail list (there were tonnes more cocktails too) and selection of beers including masses of USA rarities. Can’t wait to try some of the other offerings including the new pizzas and someone said “steak” night with Tiramisu! Don’t threaten me with a good time .. Thankyou team Stoked see you very soon!

Everything about grumpy's is great, if I could afford to eat out every week I would make this my best place

Great food, as always. Close to pay day, so we popped down for the burger deal on Thursday night, real bargain for what you get, no compromise on the food and service. Thoroughly recommend.

Food was very tasty, personally portions small for the value. Got out and had second dinner at home. Place is clean, very nice atmosphere. Dessert borderline inedible (specifically the brownie) Probably won't be back

Lovely cosy restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious vegan meal followed by a pineapple cocktail. Best cocktail I've ever had. Very nice, friendly host.

We visited on the 2nd March and had a fantastic time. We were a group of four adults plus two children and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating- a curated beer tasting for the adults and games of peek-a-boo for the little ones. Billy is a fantastic host- passionate about the food and the beer but also just incredibly warm and friendly. We sampled most of the food menu and everything we ate was a feast of flavour. The starters were a particular highlight, particularly the chilli "beef." Beer fans will also have an absolute ball here. Let Billy be your guide. We would love to visit again.

Our second breakfast visit to Grumpy's and we enjoyed it just as much as the first! The food is great, the surroundings are fantastic and the waitresses are really attentive and on the ball; nothing is too much trouble for them. We're fans of Grumpy's and will definitely be back - several times!

Amazing food and drinks. Massively recommend

Popped in for lunch for my 6 year old’s birthday. They’d laid out some decorations on the table which was a really nice touch. I asked about a salad option as I’m really restricted, and they made me one up without any fuss at all! So nice to have that accommodated despite me being in a diner where burgers and ice cream are the theme, thank you so much for being so flexible for me. Food is so generous in portion size, and staff are always so lovely and friendly, we love Grumpy’s!

We absolutely love the food and vibe at Stoked! We had our Valentines meal there and we were very impressed. The food was beautifully presented and all the dishes tasted amazing. Definitely worth a visit for the fantastic selection of imported ales and the revolutionary approach to vegan cooking. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for?!

Been going here many years, and love it. Great atmosphere, family friendly, and fabulous food. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. It's great to be able to go to a locally run restaurant that is really superb.
