Great food friendly staff and a fun atmosphere! Everything you could hope for in a 1950's themed diner.

Booked online and arrived to be told they were a little short staffed. However, we found the service exceptional as was the food. Children were entertained with colouring crayons and paper to keep them occupied whilst waiting. Food was amazing and perfect portions. Staff were very attentive and really can't find any negatives. Well worth a visit.

Been here so many times it's just perfect for kids. Staff are lovely and the food never dissapoints!

We booked online and turned up and was immediately told that the restaurant was short staffed so they had not realised we had booked and so things might take a bit longer. We chose to stay. Our choice. The restaurant was already busy. Our service from the two staff available was absolutely brilliant. Yes it took a little bit longer but we were not trying to make a short night of a meal out and it meant we had time for a proper chat. I wish I could remember the names of the brother and sister team that made sure that them being short staffed did not harm our night out Go and enjoy their food and the surroundings cos their service when up against it was exceptional. 5 stars. For food, atmosphere, service and value

Great atmosphere, amazing food, a vegan menu (if you want it) and brilliant staff. The only problem is that the portions are so generous and the food so good that I never have room for dessert!

Always enjoy our visits to Grumpy's. The food is great and so reasonably priced. We enjoy the music and decor too, but even better still, the staff are always great - helpful, friendly, fab service.

Been here a few times mostly good but last night service was very slow took ages to order as they thought order had already been taken then waited an age for food staff were polite enough will still be back at some point

Sunday Night..dinner for 4. Drinks served reasonably quickly. The shakes are superb. Only one of us had a starter...chicken strips.. Too much as a starter and would make a great main course. Mains- all had different meals. Only one of us could manage the portions. All nicely cooked. To full for deserts bar one of us who managed a plain ice cream. overall excellent, Service was fast. Recomended.
