A fantastic family friendly place! Absolutely amazing vegan menu, always welcomed with a smile, highly recommend to anyone wanting something a bit different. Generous portions and outstanding service!

Sadly, today Grumpys wasn't quite up their usual standard. When it's good the food is very good, and it's fairly expensive, so when it's not quite up to par it's a bit disappointing.

I have been here twice now with the family and it’s been a really lovely evening Jack was spot on with he’s serving and the food is spot on I would highly recommend it Will be booking in again very soon The staff here are amazing

Went for my birthday, brilliant time was had by all, staff so attentive, food was so tasty and such large portions made it so much value for money - really need to go back and try the breakfast

Always go to grumpy's for breakfast or lunchtime ice cream with our little girl. Went Sunday 20th Feb and once again, service was very good and attentive, food was fantastic, hot, tasty. Our Little girl always enjoys going to the diner and the ladies serving her always make her smile.

Great service as always, Cerease was very attentive and helpful. Food was lovely, Grumpys is our go to restaurant when we are in Southend

Very impressed with Grumpy's, particularly the service - our children are dairy intolerant, and our server was really helpful in assisting us with our choices as well as supplying things to entertain them with while we waited.

We went to Grumpys diner as a family treat for a Saturday evening and we were thoroughly impressed. Food was lovely, staff were friendly, atmosphere was what you would expect from a 1950s style diner and price was extremely reasonable. We all had milkshakes and they were delicious! Recommend the build your own burger with all the extras as We will definitely be returning.

We enjoyed a lovely birthday meal at Grumpy's Diner. The staff were attentive and helpful and the food was hot, fresh and tasty. The portions were large so nobody went home hungry. We don't live locally but would definitely visit again when visiting family. Thank you

Great food, great service, great price and cocktails are delicious, highly recommended.

Very disappointed have sent an email waiting on reply. Steak was chewy and fatty mushrooms greasy definitely not worth the money I ordered a cocktail and for £6.95 so I would of liked my glass full which it wasn't. Service was not good didn't get asked if our meal was ok or if we wanted another drink. Waited 30 mins for our food I could of understood if they were busy but 4 tables that's it.

Another good visit with fabulous food as always.
