The place was great and the staff lovely , food was great the only thing I would loved to have 50s /60s music playing to make it completed , still would recommend

It was exactly how I imagined it to be for a American dinner, the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The food was amazing very genourous portions It had a very Nice atmosphere My only complaint was they should have not sold us our milkshakes till after because they were amazing and we all devoured them before our food appeared and then struggled to enjoy our food but saying that we still ate our dinner.... highly recommended

The food was excellent, there was a really good range of things on the menu including vegan items! Really good value for money, it wasn't too expensive and the service was extremely good, they were friendly and accommodating. I'm definitely going to eat here again!

Absolutely disgusting service by the "owner" of this hotel, i didn't even make it threw the doors!! i booked a holiday for me and some friends in september upon booking the lady asked for a card guarantee, which is normal procedure for a guest house! after this booking was made 2 weeks later the "owner" decided to take full payment off my card! without any warning!! this left me with bank charges and late direct debit charges!!! after calling the hotel the lady promised me faithfully that she would refund this straight away, this taking over a week i've had to report this to my bank and send her yet another email, she half heartedly apologised and again assured me the money would go in..........I'm still waiting!!!

I live near this pub and I popped in with a few friends. This is a truly lovely pub with the nice old fashioned atmosphere. The food was great and only £5.95 for a great meal and a drink! I never go into pubs on my own but one day it poured down and after the gym, thought I would pop in on my own. I had a great lunch and all the staff was friendly. I think most women would feel ok to pop in for a drink/coffee or lunch.

Have a breakfast here nearly every week which is excellent and also go to the supper club which is held every month for fantastic food friendly service and a great atmosphere. We highly recommend it.

A value for money place to eat. Lovely relaxed friendly atmosphere excellent food and service. Michelle, Scott and their staff are always welcoming and helpful. The monthly quiz nights make for a good evening out. They also now have a monthly 'Supper Club' which is excellent. value. Yes the place is a little off the beaten track but really worth a visit. My wife and I have eaten there and popped in for a coffee regularly for over two years and rarely eat out anywhere else in the area.

The Sunflower is my favourite place to eat in Southend. Michelle and Scott run a friendly, relaxing cafe.

This is a little hidden gem our family had a wonderful private function here, the food and service was fantastic. Michelle and Scott were happy to alter menus for the fussy teenagers. All our family are now regulars enjoying the quiz nights and popping in day to day. The food is scrummy and keenly priced without compromising on quality. Our favorite place by far.

The food, the wine, the atmosphere is second to none. Love it here.

We have visited the Las Vegas Grill on many occasions over the last 5 years, with up to 50 older people on day trips from Enfield in London. Each year we have always found the staff exceedingly helpful and friendly, the food is always fresh, hot and tasty with generous portions and the cleanliness / food hygiene is second to none. The WC's are always regularly cleaned and spotless on every visit. The manager (Richard) is extremely helpful and accommodating and ensures quick, friendly and efficient service to all our clients. The only negative is that we cannot take the Las Vegas Grill and its staff back to London, so we can eat there more often.We were there in July and look forward to our next visit.

I LOVE this place! My local café is great for a lazy Saturday brunch or a cracking Sunday roast - very well-cooked, reasonably-priced and you can even phone in advance and get a takeaway roast! :D

What a splendid venue for our 'significant birthday' celebration with all the family around us. Thanks to Scott for the great food and to Michelle for helping create the atmosphere.
