What a splendid venue for our 'significant birthday' celebration with all the family around us. Thanks to Scott for the great food and to Michelle for helping create the atmosphere.

I happened to be visiting family in Southend-On-Sea the other day, and after reading the fantastic reviews, I decided to bring my family here for a meal. I'm pleased to inform you it was a delightful experience and that we had a wonderful time. The service was very efficient and friendly, whilst the gorgeous Sunday roast was the best I have had in a while. I'll be certain to dine there again, as it made a great impression.

A mega big thanks to Michelle and all the staff for a fantastic "Mother's Day" meal!! All three of us had a wonderful time - gorgeous food and such a happy atmosphere...thank you again and will see you all at half term for a big breakfast for Rachel and I. PS Have just planted the lovely plant that you put on the table - what a lovely touch for us Mum's xx

Absolutely Fantastic food, Staff are always friendly. Price's very affordable as well. Top place to eat.

Enjoyed a number of Saturday breakfasts for our guys from Avenue Baptist Church. Michelle and team always helpful and the coffee is great!

Live Halifax, spent this weekend (17th - 19th June 2011 in Southend on Sea. Went to Barnacles on Saturday 18th. There was 8 of us in our party and all I can say is 100% good food, 100% good service 100% friendly happy people who work there and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend and next time we are in Southend will be certain to go back.

I have been going here about 10 years since they opened (when they were next door at Siam City). It's always been great. Superb food and wonderful service. I have taken many parties and everyone, without fail, has loved it. On top of all that, the prices are extremely reasonable.

Don't bother going the female toilets were disgusting and stunk to high heaven hadn't been cleaned for i don't know how long the eating area was dirty with unclean tables food was a surprise though.

My first experience (on recommendation) to this restaurant. A lovely ambience, truly like a Thai restaurant with all furnishings and greeted by Thai waitress in thai costume. Food was hot and full of the spices I experienced in Thailand. Service was quick and attention to respond to requests, immediate. This is owned by Thai woman. Many Thai restaurants I have been to are Chinese masquerading as Thai, not good. Would I go again, most definitely
