The Warehouse Kitchen and Bar – SouthportWe have been eating here for over 20 years, always happy to help and change set menus around to suit personel taste, you wont go far wrong no matter if there is 2 of you or 22 of you!
Lings on Kings – SouthportMore of an adult restaurant than Pizza Hut, quick service and nice atmosphere. Good for couples.
Pizza Express – SouthportOne of Southports better Indian Restaurants, but could now do with a "makeover" The food is usually very good, but the decor is looking a bit tired and the portions appear to be getting smaller or is it just familiarity breeding contempt? Service always friendly but slow if they are half full or beyond. I hasten to add that there is not a great deal wrong with Lalqila that a kick in the Managerial pants wouldn`t cure and it wouldn`t take a lot to make what has become a good Restaurant , a great Restaurant once more.
Taj Mahal – SouthportThis was a Restaurant that we expected to shine, the location is good, down by the Park and parking easy, the Restaurant inside has a pleasant air to it and unfortunately, when we went, they were quite busy. The service was extremely slow andgave the impression that they were doing you a favour serving you. When we did eventually get started I have to admit that the food was quite good, but with a long wait in between courses it made the evening drag on. At the end of the night there were no complaints about the food but the bill was a different matter. The drinks prices were -- well -- pricey to say the least. I`d like to try it when they are not so busy, but won`t rush back.
Ho Lee Chow – SouthportThis is a really good Indian restaurant. Nothing too radical or innovative, but always excellent food, and highly recommended.
Belash – SouthportExcellent choice of traditional food, perfectly cooked to order. Proffessional and courteous staff and pleasant surroundings, never a disappointment.
Kasturi Indian Cuisine – SouthportI have been eating here for years and the service and food is lovely. They have a selection chefs specials which you dont find in every place. For a casual meal this is great value and choice.
Taj Mahal – SouthportAlways a good place to have a relaxing night out with my girlfriend. We both find the food and service to be very good. Not only is it a good place to take your partner, it is also a good place for groups of people.
Knightsbridge Restaurant – SouthportFabulous freshly prepared food! The banquets are to die for and are very inexpensive! We had a wonderful evening Sat 5th July 2003!
Alamir Lebanese Bistro – SouthportFantastic freshly prepared food at a great price. The banquets are supberb value for money and truly exquisite!!
Alamir Lebanese Bistro – SouthportBoth my girlfriend any myself enjoy this restaurant very much. The staff are pleasant and the service is fine, as we never have to wait long for our food. There's a wide variety of choices with the food.
Auberge Brasserie – SouthportReally enjoyed my evening here. Excellent food and a lovely friendly atmosphere. I believe it has been in the same family for 20 years and they obviously care!
Dolce Vita – SouthportGot there early on a Saturday for lunch 12.00 noon. From the Lunchtime menu, we chose the following: Deep Fried Black Pudding Fritters. Side orders of Tomato and Pesto Garlic Bread. Delicious ! The bottle of Wine was a tad expensive at £14.00 a go. For Main, Red Bream beautifully presented. Mushroom and Leek Risotto, creamy and full of flavour. Couldn't fit pudding. Then Baileys Espresso Coffee. Worked out £15 per head all in. Very good. Would highly recommend it. Service was very good. The atmosphere was lively for a Saturday, BUT GET THERE EARLY otherwise you won't get in.
The Warehouse Kitchen and Bar – SouthportOne of the best meals I have ever had, such an array of dishes to choose from particularly fish dishes. A lovely restaurant attentive staff and a lovely ambiance recommended for that special occasion
Forge Brasserie – SouthportVery nice meal. Good value
Belash – SouthportAt lunch time it where Ladies who Lunch go to! And no wonder it is well worth a visit, with very good food and pleasant staff; it has interesting decor with stained glass.
Knightsbridge Restaurant – SouthportHave been to the Belash many times over the years. Have tried other Indians but always come back here. Food is always great (but too much to eat) - but unfortunately it is sometimes very quiet. Faruk, the waiter who always seems to be there, is very friendly and always makes us welcome. Like most Indian restaurants, there is a vast variety of foods on the menu - including some English dishes for those who need them! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
