Westminster Tea Rooms – SouthportI think that this a wonderful place to eat and drink i would recommend going on a Wednesday night there is selected wine and whisky for a pound from Karl
Rueters – SouthportThis restaurant is lovely inside the atmosphere is excellent and so is the service. The food is excellent both the lunchtime menu and the evening menu. I can? recommend it enough. The prices are great for the food served. It? well worth a visit and you will go back!
Rueters – SouthportA relaxed & comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, attentive and helpful willing to advise on types of dishes or arrange something specific for you with the Chef. Food is always excellent and reasonably priced. It all goes to makes an enjoyable evening! (Their takeaways are of the same high standard if you don't have time to eat in)
Kasturi Indian Cuisine – SouthportHave been eating here for 6 years and is one of only few restaurants to have consistently pleased, Sunday lunch is very good value staff always attentive and friendly
Auberge Brasserie – SouthportStraight to the table no waiting Very, very friendly. The banter between the owner and waitress amazingly entertaining. The food was excellent and the portions were massive. Excellent range on menu in pizzeria and also restaurant upstairs. I've tried both. Cannot fault it. Starter ribs are to die for. Home made Paté best I've ever, ever tasted. Totally recommended. Definitely going back.
Tony’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria – SouthportLovely home made cakes, sandwiches and light meals. The star turn for me is the scone with clotted cream, jam and butter with a pot of tea for £1.50 - superb. Only drawback is that it can get rather stuffy and cramped inside.
Lucy’s Coffee Shop – SouthportMamma Mia's Pizzeria is a pleasure to visit. The food is consistent on every occasion. The staff are friendly and efficient. Value for money is absolutely brilliant and I recommend it highly.
Mamma Mia Pizzeria – SouthportWe went here January 2006 on a Sunday afternoon. It was quietish. It is a lovely restaurant, very clean. The food was very tasty and presented very good. The service was great. The restaurant was a bit cold but we were given gas heater so this was not a problem. We went for a birthday and was given free birthday cake which was delicious. They stopped the music and played happy birthday. It is a lovely restaurant and we are going back for mother's day and looking forward to it.
Ho Lee Chow – SouthportWe had a very nice evening at this restaurant, food was good and very generous, we went for pork kebab, which was a little tough and afelia, which was not as i remember but still the Greek salad, tahini sauce, pitta bread etc were very good. Wine also was good. Good atmosphere and you can also smoke if you wish. We will definitely go back.
Crete Greek Taverna – SouthportThis is 'our' restaurant. We've been going here for celebrations for years and it's always spot on. The seafood is to die for. Atmosphere is fantastic and it never fails to impress
Forge Brasserie – SouthportFirst time Ive been here. Chose from the £12.95 set menu (Saturday before 5pm) The food was excellent, as was the wine. A stylish restaurant, which I will definitely be visiting again.
Auberge Brasserie – SouthportWe love Mexican food, but whenever we have been to visit (usually midweek) the restaurant is very quiet, which can be great depending on whether you want a raucous night out or a quiet chat. The service was fantastic, and the food was beautiful, and aesthetically pleasing, but we did find it expensive in comparison to other restaurants. I think a meal for two was close to £45 without any desserts, and neither of us was drinking heavily as one was driving, and the other doesn't have the capacity! However, we have returned, and ultimately, the reason one goes is the quality of the food, but if it were cheaper we would be more regular visitors.
Fuegos – SouthportAlthough we visit frequently throughout the year, our best visit is always our annual girly Christmas night! We usually get together Christmas week for a chill down evening of great food and copious amounts of wine. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to avoid the mayhem of Southport at Christmas
Fuegos – SouthportThe Table dote menu was fantastic value and beautiful quality food and the main menu was outstanding. Well worth a visit!
Chez Moi Brasserie – Southportgood
The Warehouse Kitchen and Bar – SouthportThere is a nice atmosphere here and the food is very good for the price. We had a really good night, if it was nearer to Liverpool we would probably go back again soon. We haven't tried lunch time specials but they are probably good too.
New China City – Southport3 course Sunday lunch was a real find, there are many more mid week offers we are waiting to try
