Great atmosphere and really friendly and efficient staff. The food is excellent, very fresh and plentiful. Some great menu items which are not usually found in your average Chinese restaurant. It’s usually quite busy so would recommend booking in advance but have noticed that they also do a take way service so will definitely be taking advantage of this too!

Had a great meal at Houghwood yesterday lunchtime, with family members. Food was lovely & the service was above average. Well recommended!

Having not been to Sing Faye for several years we went for a birthday meal this weekend. The booking was very easy to do either by phone or email. On arrival we were warmly greeted and very quickly shown to our table. The lovely touch of hot towels made a refreshing start to our meal. The restaurant was very busy but there was a very friendly relaxed atmosphere. Throughout the evening the staff were efficient, friendly and provided an excellent dining experience. The menu choice was excellent and the food was delicious. We were given time between courses and never felt rushed. The fresh oranges and fortune cookies provided yet another lovely touch. We have no negative comments to make and will certainly be returning in the near future. Our advice would be to book in advance as it is very popular and that in itself confirms our comments.

Had a late Sunday lunch with family. Really pleasant atmosphere and great service. The menu had lots of choice, and the food was enjoyed by all. Can't wait to visit again when it's a bit warmer, and sit on the terrace to experience the views. Good value for money and happy to recommend.

Just back from a lovely evening at Houghwood was greeted at the door and escorted to our table , we were a table of 7 and had a lovely spot in the restaurant. The waitress who looked after us was very friendly and helpful ,the food was lovely and the staff very attentive. We had a great evening and would highly recommend booking here for an evening meal .

Went last night for a banquet for 3, the sevice was amazing from the start, and the food exceptional ! I am disabled, the staff were very attentive and the disabled toilets were huge ! My husband, kindly booked us is for Valentines Night, to come back again, as we had such a lovely time Well done Sing Faye

We went on new years, booked in line which was fairly easy to do It was very busy, but we were made to feel very welcome The food was very good, the service great Would definitely visit again

Food was lovely really well presented and service was really great. What we loved the most was how we wasn't rushed and was able to take a break in between the courses if we wanted to which made us enjoy the food more enjoyable.

Attended Houghwood with the family, with ages ranging from 14 to 78! We'd booked ahead and were met by very attentive and friendly staff who showed us to our table. We settled in and ordered a few drinks whilst reviewing the menu. Staff were very approachable and we were given such a lovely welcome. Starters we had included Prawn Cocktail, Melon and a Winter Veg Soup. All were very well presented and tasted delicious! The soup in particular was a real winner! All but one of us had the Christmas Dinner, with the Sea Bass being the other option chosen. The Christmas Dinner was simply devine! Beautifully seasoned and every element was cooked to perfection. The Turkey was succulent and there was plenty of it. The roast potatoes were crispy yet fluffy and the vegetables were cooked just right. The gravy was also exceptionally well seasoned! Various accompaniments were offered and the Cranberry Sauce was equally very nice indeed. The Sea Bass was also cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. Desserts followed. We chose the homemade Cheesecake (which was recommended by our wonderful waitress) and also the Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce. One of our group just wanted a small portion of Ice Cream (not on the menu) and they were more than happy to do that. Nothing was too much trouble. Drinks were topped up throughout and the surroundings were very festive. We all left fully satisfied with the food, service and settings - highly recommended. We've dined at Houghwood on several occasions and not been disappointed once. I expected a lot from their Christmas Menu and it certainly delivered. Beautiful.
