Excellent food, service and friendly staff. Really good menu and food well presented. I had a spicy chicken salad which was packed with olives, different salad leaves and avocado. The pub is spacious and had a nice atmosphere lots of outdoor space if you want to sit outside.

Portion sizes were good, food tasted freshly cooked and served hot. A good choice on the menu to cater for all tastes. Just noticed on the website the offer of a smaller portions menu and we all seem to have missed this but to have it pointed out to us would have been welcomed. But very happy with service and food and happy to recommend.

Waggon and Horses – StalybridgeVisited for lunch and found the pub to be even colder than the staffs lack of greeting. People were sat with their coats on, and some left without eating. To be fair we were offered a cramped table near a radiator, but asked for a booth and were told it was reserved. Waited over thirty minutes for food, and when we asked, it came out straight away but was only just warm. In addition the scampi was not available. Overall we were disappointed and will not return.
