The Wine Shack at No 7 – StroudWe had 2 great meals at the Wine Shack (May 11th and 12th) whilst of Vacation, The food was 1st class, the Owners and Staff are top notch helpful and super friendly add to that a great vibe all just perfect for a lovely evening. One other point the wine list is superb maybe one of the most comprehensive we have seen add to that the knowledge of Wine Shack adds up to a superb evening.
The Wine Shack at No 7 – StroudFab little local tapas bar, gorgeous courtyard on a sunny evening.
The Wine Shack at No 7 – StroudHad a lovely evening with super friendly service. Wonderful prawns and a lovely selection of wine to choose from.
The Wine Shack at No 7 – StroudA lovely evening spent in the courtyard under the heaters. Great ambiance and very friendly service. Delicious wines, tapas and charcuterie. You should visit! We'll definitely be back.
The Wine Shack at No 7 – StroudLovely meal and friendly staff
The Wine Shack at No 7 – StroudGreat wine bar, excellent food & good service. We ordered a meat/cheese board plus tapas dishes expecting the board to arrive first which we would have preferred but it didn’t. Would have been good to know that first but a minor issue…
The Wine Shack at No 7 – StroudWe had a very enjoyable meal and particularly liked the wine flight where we could sample 3 different wines for the price of a glass. Excellent range of food on the menu. Premises rather cramped and could be noisy especially if you have a large group on an adjacent table. We will come back.
The Wine Shack at No 7 – StroudFour of us had a great meal here on a Saturday lunchtime. The service was relaxed and friendly, and the tapas andpuddings were superb. I would totally recommend and would like to come again. Thanks to the team at No 7.
The Wine Shack at No 7 – StroudFantastic food and great service as always! Would definitely recommend and will be going back
The Wine Shack at No 7 – StroudGood food and service in this small, friendly wine bar.
The Wine Shack at No 7 – StroudPreviously going to Tipputs was an experience not to be found anywhere else. Locally sourced veg and meat, tenderly cooked with that twist of fine dinning not to be found in any other gastropub. Now, it a sub-normal pub. The food is bland and has the same care taken to it as a microwaved meal. The scallop starter was so salty you couldn't taste the tender flavours and the chickens apricot sauce was so sweet I couldn't bare to have dessert. All in all change is not good for Tipputs! Bring back the old chef and the old menu. Recession I hear you scream? No! Reconstituted meat!
Tipputs Inn – Stroudvery good, beccy and beccie should definitely go there !
Bear of Rodborough Hotel – Stroudbar nine was a great experience. It was the service and atmosphere that was so defining. the food is adventurous. i had a great kleftico. highly recommend.
The Ale House – StroudRather dated and slightly shabby interior, limited range of drinks. Could be a lovely place, but needs updating, some new ideas and enthusiasm, and a good spring clean. It's really rather a Cinderella place at the moment.
Ragged Cot Inn – StroudNice, modern restaurant in an attractive, quaint old building. Good range of choice on the menu, mainly Mediterranean style dishes - as you would expect from a place named The Olive Tree!
Olive Tree – StroudJust brilliant - what a great place, and there website told us everything we needed to know before we even went! You should really try this place - cracking!
The Pepper Pot – StroudHad Sunday Lunch here in September, only Sunday roast available, which you would think would be easy for the kitchen. Restaurant was not particularly busy, however everyones food was luke warm, vegetables soggy and yorkshire puddings like concrete. Apart from the stunning view, this pub had nothing else going for it, and I would definitely not return!
