Food was very good and service quick even though evening busy

Great food, great service, extensive menu - we will definitely return.

We went for my girlfriends birthday meal and can not fault the restaurant. The food, service and the atmosphere are fantastic. This is by far the best Italian around. I recommend to anyone.

Da Gino is our absolute favourite restuarant to eat and we have been going there for many years now. The food is always amazing, such a good menu to choose from and they are keen to make sure that you have the food you want. The service is superb, couldn't ask for better, all of the staff are so friendly and helpful, really make you feel welcome and that you matter to them; they remember little details from past conversations about our family and always ask after them. Lunch menu is particularly competitive for a two course quality meal. Highly recommend. Looking forward to our next visit!

Far too expensive for very average food and portion size. Beef stroganoff at £30. Shame but I don’t suppose in the current climate that there are many places offering good value for money.

After recommendations we decided to visit Da Gino , we were greeted nicely on entry and shown to our table. First we asked if they had any hot drinks? the waitress said they had tea and coffee but didn’t go into much detail so we assumed they just had standard tea and coffee so we proceeded not to have hot drinks first as we didn’t eat for a while so a hot drink would have been preferable first. The linen, decor and atmosphere was very romantic and stylish. I ordered Scampi Gratinati however the scampi was not so jumbo, the scampi was very small and my portion size was very small. My partner had Penne Da Gino which was very nice, lovely taste. Chose pastry for dessert this was nice but it was really dry needed more cream, I had this with a coffee liqueur which I would have had at the start instead of wine had the menu been elaborated a tiny bit more. Overall it was a nice evening and would try something else again with more assistance.

My husband & I visited for a valentines meal. The service was exceptional and the waiters were very attentive. We both had a 3 course meal and it was delicious with good portions, I would definitely recommend a pasta as a starter as it was divine! Great atmosphere and would definitely visit again!

My wife and I went for a mean on Valentines Day. First of all I have to say the food good although a very limited menu. However imagine your table is as far away from the main area as is possible, you are situated 20ft from the kitchens with the hustle that kitchens make and 20ft from the toilets whose door bangs every time it’s used - and you wouldn’t believe how many times a toilet is used. Further to that the music - which can best be described as a poor imitation of a karaoke with people who clearly had no singing ability - was very loud and not appropriate for a romantic meal - and of course to crown it all - we had a speaker right over the table ! The couple on the next table had there final course as a takeaway - I wonder why?

What a lovely evening. Friendly staff and wow the food was out of this world. Everything was flawless. We will definitely be going back and would recomend to anyone to go. The whole atmosphere was amazing, beautiful layout made you feel you were on holiday. The staff couldn't do enough to make yiu4 evening feel so special. Thank you so much.
