I regularly eat at the bilash both in the restaurant and take away and the food is fantastic However i am very disappointed with the service tonight. They tried to bring the main meal before the poppadoms were finished, missed the starter we ordered and got the order wrong The restaurant is all about turn over and despite being a regular they let themselves down tonight I will be looking for an alternative from now on so if anybody can recommend a decent Indian local to Swinton then let me know

we have not been to the far pavilion for five years after reading the reviews on this sight we decided to pay a visit i have got to say the service and food was excellent we will be eating in or getting our takeaways from you in the future well done

My husband and I had a fantastic meal here on New Year’s Day – 1 January 2012. The restaurant has recently re-opened under new ownership (previously called Naseeb). We hadn’t booked, but we were offered a table straight away and made to feel very welcome by the manager and the staff.The restaurant is small but very comfortable; the décor is nice and they have a carpet so it’s not as noisy as these modern echoing “tiled” places! We had poppadoms and chutneys as a first course; the poppadoms were nice and fresh and the chutneys were delicious served on a little platter, mango, raita, onions and lime pickle. For out next course we had a mixed starter each, the kebabs were really nice, spicy and hot. Both were generous portions and served with salad.For our main courses we had a chicken kharai and a lamb Madras. Both dishes were lovely and hot and the meat was delicious. Again they were both very generous portions, served with rice and a sweet nan bread. I particularly like the Madras as it had a very good traditional style flavour – some places don’t quite get the spices right but this was perfect. We had wine with our meal, just the house white but it was a good quality and we enjoyed it.Throughout the meal the service was excellent, we didn’t have to wait between courses and the staff seemed friendly and courteous. We felt we had a lot of food, it was good value for money (under £40) and it was a nice evening out, we would definitely go back here.

Good pub and food except for the landlady who is the most rude and obnoxious woman I have ever met. The poor bar staff, I dont know how they manage to work for her!

best fish and chips around tender juicy kebabs friendly staff and the cheapest in the country try it you wont be disappointed

We were recommended the Bilash Balti in Swinton and can honestly say that the food is fantastic, the service is great and the atmosphere is buzzing. We love it there and go quite often. Don't think you could get better in Rusholme!

i have been using the top rd balti since the early days,about 1987 i think it first opened,sure it was called the uraswarmy,think khan owned it even back then,it was only the end of the block then,small room,anyway,the food is top draw,so are the staff,the way you can have a pint whilst waiting for a takeout is legendary.well done boys.

i would recommend the bilash balti house anytime, they do the best extra HOT vindaloo curry which is very enjoyable and with regards to the staff they are the best bunch of lads i have ever come across

Stupots is the best cafe I have ever been to! the food is always the dogs b*****ks, i go here most days!

Stupots has a very friendly atmosphere. never been to a better deli.

This is a brilliant place to get food, me and my friends go there every other day for dinner

I have been going to the bilash for the past 10+ years and can honestly say i have never had a bad meal there..eating in or take away Kahn and the staff are always more than welcome to make you feel welcome and are happy to meet your requirements.. give it a try..trust me you wont be disappointed!!

I LOVE BILASH BALTI HOUSE IN SWINTON!!!!! It is the best Indian by far in Manchester and believe me I have tried a fair few. Indian food is my absolute favourite so consider myself quite fussy. Bilash is THE BEST. I could eat any dish, the staff are kind and funny, always welcoming and giving excellent deals on take away. Food is excellent...did I mention that? I am going for my engagement party this weekend! Love it!

Amazing family run deli, great atmosphere all year round, best breakfast in Manchester and great value for money, definitely be returning.

Best breakfast in Manchester! Also the Christmas panini is absolutely fantastic and great value for money! Everything at Stupots is delightful!
