Great food, tasty but steak was a little over cooked for medium rare for my taste, have been a few times over the years and never had a bad meal and service is always good. Will return once saved enough money to treat ourselves as expensive.

My favourite restaurant, the food was excellent, service great, had a lovely birthday dinner.

Nice food a little expensive especially the starters for the size, but the main disappointment was the slow service. I would visit again hoping the service is better and it was a one off occasion.

I absolutely love this place. The food, staff and everything about this restaurant is just amazing. I’ve been going there for years and it never disappoints.

Nice food, ok service, food well over priced! We started with the nacho sharer, it was £18.95 and I expected much more for this price. The dip bowl was only enough for one person and the nachos would have cost a pound in the supermarket. My husband then ordered a steak which was £22.95, I thought was an average price until the waitress said it didn’t include any chips or sauce, who would just order a steak with no sides. A glass of coke was £5 and then when we asked for the bill there was a 10% service charge added on top! We like the place but will not be visiting again anytime soon at those prices!

We visited Panama Hatty's on Wednesday 31st May to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday with two other family members, and from the minute we walked in we were treated excellently. The gentleman who greeted us (so sorry did not get your name) showed us to our table, then he and Ella served us throughout the evening. Just after we arrived I asked if a taxi could be arranged and the response was, "Leave it with me Sir.". Drinks were ordered, we weren't rushed into ordering our food, but when it arrived it was simply outstanding. In no particular order between four of us, ribs that simply fell off of the bone, chicken wings the like I have never tasted before, salmon, a Claypot with fish, mussels, prawns, and sizzling beef Fajita. At 9pm we waited for our taxi which did not arrive (even though they said they had turned up!) Problem? No, again the gentleman rang around various other firms and got us another taxi within 20 minutes. In a nutshell, our experience at this restaurant, along with Ella and the other lovely gentleman (again sorry we did not get your name), topped off what had been a lovely 60th birthday for my wife, and I cannot fault it, it's a 5* from me.

Non alcoholic cocktail was weak and watered down. The starters had been microwaved as they were so hot and were out within minutes of ordering. Main meal was too spiced with chilli and when we mentioned this at The end was just informed by another waiter. Well l would have told you when you ordered. Would not go again

Excellent meal on Sunday. Garlic bread amazing, chicken burrito bursting with flavours. Husband didnt want onion in veg burrito so substituted with celery and courgette. Excellent service, friendly and informal.

Have been coming here since 2004 and the quality of the welcome, service and food is just so consistently great. The atmosphere is relaxed and intriguing and the selection of dishes is excellent. Keep it going!

This is my second visit to Panama Hattys and was very impressed again. Food was delicious, the sharing platter start was amazing. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly and the salt and pepper seasoning is fantastic. Mains were very good, steak was cooked perfectly and ribs were tender. Expensive but worth it.

The venue and the staff were excellent. The food was good but on this occasion found it average. The food has always stood out at this venue but we all felt that where other venues have raised the bar with its food this venue had stayed the same. We also felt the prices were a bit steep for what we got. Would go there again But they need to up there game!!

Chicken wings deep fried/oily, roast potatoes clearly not made on the premises/bought in, not as good as Aunt Bessie's, rotisserie chicken skin not crispy & meat a bit tasteless, veg too hard & I we don't like it overcooked. Service was good, but food really needs to be improved before would consider going back. Very sad, as years ago this used to be good - seems to have got poor food standard wise over the years.

We booked mid-week to celebrate my daughters birthday & where looking forward to a beautiful steak! MMmmmmmm cooked wrong, returned, cooked perfectly but the steaks were horrendous - cheap fatty, grissly cuts completly inedible. Disappointed would be an understatement!
