came to Blackpool for a holiday last week and while there we discovered Kays fish and chips at Cleveleys on Tuesday and went back for a second helping on Thursday The best fish and chips I've had in my life (A pretty long life) beautiful fish coated in light batter not too much batter and wonderful chips ! I shall return !!!!!! By the way What a wonderful place Cleveleys is so clean with the great new promenade. Sh don't tell anyone about Cleveleys and Kays fish and chips or everyone will want to go there so lets all keep it a secret - If we can. lol

The fish and chips here are superb. You can buy with confidence at this shop as it holds a Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Friers

Fantastic food. Staff very accommodating and polite. Only problem is the floor........NOT GOOD

We have been in many times and always enjoyed it! The owner and staff are always so welcoming there. Last Friday, we went in for the new Spring Offer Menu. It was again, SUPER! Paid £12.95 for a 3 course meal which included a proper filler steak ( £8 extra) for main course. What a bargain!! And the menu is on the whole week and evening. You won't get the same quality food for the price yo paid anywhere else in the area! We loved it so much , will be back within the month again!

Fist went to this restaurant many years ago when the memory man worked there.Our order for was for fourteen people, starters, mains and sweets,he took the order without writing anything down and nothing was missed out. Went with friends4/6/11 Very impressed with décor quality of food and friendly staff. Hope to return many more times.

I work at Manchester Airport. Whenever I take a curry to work on nights, from Michaels, I get loads of requests for orders. Did it last night and it went down a treat. Superb meal.

I've been going to Kays for as long as I can remember, It's the only place my Dad will eat chips from. The staff always make me feel welcome and it's a great place to catch up on the local gossip.

Great food with an unrushed and friendly service, the price is right so we just keep going there

i had promised my self not to return to this restaurant.i could not refuse becouse invited. Please ,please, do not continue to say it's italian restaurant you can not eat pizza or pasta much better at domino.Then someone tell the chef that garlic does not go anywher.Worse than what i remembered. service is not a problem does not exist..Advice if you open a restaurant should know how to run. very very poor

I travel from Urmston, Manchester at least once a month to Cleveleys and never fail to pay a visit to Kay's. The staff are friendly and the Fish and Chips are fantastic. It's always busy so that tell's you just how good it is. Put Kay's on your places to visit this year.

i have had quite a few meals at the mill and the carvery is great value for money. You can eat as much or as little as you want and is consistently good every time

You know a good fish & chip restaurant when the locals use it! We live in Blackpool & travel to Kays in Cleveleys because their fish & chips best in the area. Always a happy atmosphere there too! Well done Kays you're the best!!!

Best Chip Shop in the North West, tasty food all times and a very friendly atmosphere. I travel from Morecambe to go there as I have never tasted such good traditional food as Kay's. I keep asking them to move to Morecambe because I know they would be a hit. Be back soon

Chips and fish from Kays are delicious, been there a couple of times in last month or so. Cooked to order and batter to die for. Not stingy portions either. I can highly recommend them, can't wait to go again. Handy to find right beside the bus station with an sit-in cafe if you don't won't to eat outside.

The food is very good especially the donner kebabs BUT when you have to pay £2.50 for delivery every time we get the food its cold.They deliver it in a tatty cardboard base of a box,Surely with all the money they charge for deliveries they would invest in a hot bag £ 25 on e bay !!(same as pizza hut etc etc) then you might have a fighting chance of hot food,but heating a donner in the microwave not good practice.Sorry we wont use again,so just beware if you want hot food and live more than 500yards away think again !!!!!!!!
