Had takeaway on Thurs 10th. Food not as described on menu and tasted awful. Couldn't eat it and had to throw it away. Phoned to give restaurant feedback and person I spoke to was very rude. Said if I didn't like the food it was' my problem'.my family have been regular customers for a number of years but won't be going back EVER.

It's been a good few years since i've dined here and after last night (11/05/12) it's going to be another good few years. So where do i start? 1, Seating, we were to cramped as my friend just kept getting knocked and that was mainly by the waiting on staff.2, Waitress brought my friend her drink and leans over my food to place on the table instead of walking a couple of feet to my friends side of the table. Then the next one that served us had a mouth full of food. So RUDE!!3. Garlic Bread lovely.4. Starters Chicken Wings, Tart

Very very poor service!!

We ordered and were told thefood would be here by a certain time. Half an hour later it still wasnt here. When we chased it on the phone, the staff were really rude. In total we waited an hour and a half. When the food arrived it was cold and overcooked. It had spilt everywhere and leaked over the rest of the food. Bad experience. Would not recommend at all. Better choice and customer service elsewhere!!

Awful Having used this chinese for 9yrs its has recently been taken over this year and the food is awful and drab. the original chef has gone back to Hong Kong and yes you can tell. sent my meals back tonight and got a refund. shame on the dragon

I visited the venue earlier this week, the food and service was fantastic. I then returned at the weekend and had a lovely time once again the service again was brilliant! I would have loved to have thanked the manager for making my visits special however it was hard to work out who it was as all the staff were professional and looked the same. But all in all a great place!

my wife and I ate at Seniors yesterday. The service was excellent. The fish and chips incredible, piping hot melt in your mouth batter and lovely flaky haddock and cod. The portions were so good we wished we'd ordered the small chips but we ate every morsel. The restaurant and toilets were immaculate and the staff very friendly. We would definitely give it 5 out of 5.

Two of us visited la dolce vita on a busy Friday evening and found the staff to be more than welcoming, the food was amazing flavourful and brilliantly cooked, but more noticeable was the quality of service nothing was too much at any point. We were allowed to make alterations to the menu in certain places and nothing was too much bother. Both food and wine were excellent and we will definitely be back soon. We have ordered takeaway meals from the Dragon twice over the last two or three weeks. The staff are very friendly and the food on both occasions has been really good. Best Chinese Restaurant for miles around, they are really that good! You will need to dig out your cheque book or cash as they don't take card payments but don't let that put you off. Steve

We took a coach of 26 people to the Venue for the lunch menu of a choice of meals for £5.99. The choice was excellent, and the food was tasty and filling, everyone enjoyed their choices. The staff could not do enough to help and we all would visit again without hesitation.

When you book at venue for a wedding, you know what the facilities are and what the cost is. What none of us know is how the staff will be - how good the food is - and how good the service will be. On those measures alone, The Venue at Cleveleys was brilliant. Far beyond our expectations on what was a very tight budget. From our first contact they joined in our planning arrangements, and their experience was hugely influential in what turned out to be a perfect day (and evening). From meal choices, entertainment options, table layout and even help with the balloons and decorations - they were always there for us. Thanks particularly to Jackie and Andy.

I had my 50th Birthday Party in the spirit room at the venue on Saturday March 10th. The food, a hog roast for 170 guests was excellent, everyone was commenting on how good the food was. The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them, the disco catered well for the mixed audience making the atmosphere fantastic! A great night was enjoyed by all, please say a big thanks to all the staff who made my night so fantastic, BIG THANK YOU!! Wendy Whiteside

Rude landlord, landlady useless, dirty toilets, food still frozen bar staff that seem put out having to stop and serve...horrendous.

my wife and i have just had our wedding reception at the Venue, 120 hungry guests arrived and were superbly looked after by Thomas, and his staff the mediterranean style buffet was mouthwatering, with piri piri chicken home made lasagna, pizzola loaded potato skins numerous salads and the best chunky chips in the world all the guests went back at least once more and still the food kept coming! all served to us by professional attentive staff, and to add to that the bar was fully stocked and the prices easily one of the cheapest places in Blackpool with bitter at £2.50, and lager at £2.80, plus house doubles and premium drinks if you want a function of any kind THIS IS THE PLACE STOP LOOKING!!!

we have been already at this restaurant about a year ago and already at the time was not much.But being invited could not say no, simply not a good restaurant the first Italian restaurant where even the pizza is awful.then i wonder why an Italian restaurant does not have Italian staff ??????

I visited the venue on Tuesday night with my partner for valentines day. It has got to be one of the best meals i have ever had, the price was very reasonable and so much to choose from 3 courses 1 course, 2 courses and the regular menu. the service was brilliant a full restaurant and only 2 members of staff - how they did it i don't know i'm really impressed there must have been about 50 people in the place. The young man that served us was very polite and made sure everything was ok with our meals. So a BIG THANK YOU to the venue for making our valentines meal special.

The Venue is our number one choice when we decide to go out for a family meal, as it accommodates all of our family's needs. i have panic attacks and i feel at ease there. my daughter is coeliac and loves the variety she can choose from. there are no limits. We like it so much that we decided to hire the Spirit nightclub room in the basement for my son's 21st birthday party. The service was excellent from the start. My son has learning difficulties and the owner made him feel very special about his big party and she had a lot of time for him. She took care of everything and put our minds at rest over the organising. The room itself was fantastic, with balloons and lights to go with it for his favourite football clubs colours. The food was amazing and friends are still talking about how great it was. Everyone was catered for. My son had a wonderful night to remember. Highly recommended.
