Went to Isinglass last week for the first time. Great to see a restaurant with a menu showing imagination and a true passion for local quality produce rather than what can be produced quickly en masse. I recommend the cheese slate for desserts but beware it a huge portion so recommend that you share it.

the standard was not standard it was 1st class . i went in on Saturday its undergoing a transformation and i say it is looking good . one waiter called alim was very helpful he made us feel welcome and recommended a dish called sharzane murgi althogh it was busy he got out of way 2 make sure we was taken care of

By far the best indian restaurant in Manchester, better than anything in Rusholme by far. Service is excellent! You even get complementary drinks! On my last visit we got a free half pint of Cobra and at the end of the meal some vanilla brandy! The food is totally divine too, we had some specials off the menu, one called The Taste of Shundourbon and a Shezane Mugli, both tasted gorgeous and were just right. The naans are divine and the chapati are to die for! They even do take away if you don't want to dine in! This place should have a lot of awards for what it is!

Fantastic once again! service superb, food mouth watering! wine went down far to quickly but that was my fault! The wine list again gets better with every visit, so to does the menu. Keep doing what you are doing best! Dont let me down! See you very soon. Mr T. Baker

We visit La Torre quite regularly as the food is so good, after being here I good never go to La tasca, this is great freshly cooked food in a relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it.

I have tried every Italian restaurant in Trafford area and this is by far the best and very high class.

Excellent fresh ingredients, good portion sizes and reasonable charges. Good wines - especially Torres. A little taste of Spain - pity they couldn't give us an outside terrace in the sun!

Me and my girlfriend ate here last week and were very impressed with the food. Much better than the bland tastes of most La Tasca restaurants! Will definitely be eating here again.

A group of us ate here Wednesday tea time, and we were all impressed with the food. It was freshly cooked, the sauces that the food was in were excellent. They have a mid-week happy hour from 5pm -7pm where all Tapas are 2 for £5. This is good food for a good price, and I would highly recommend it.

Dinned here on Thursday evening and was very glad I did. We went early evening and the place was empty but soon filled up. The staff were very friendly and easy to speak to. We enjoy a refreshing bottle of rose wine very good price at £14. we ordered 2 starter specials which were goats cheese with rocket, after which we had the honey mustard chicken fillet with buttered root veg, the portions were big and we didn? have room for dessert which was a petty as the list was mouth watering! a very pleasant evening well be coming back! well Done!!! t.Baker

If you enjoy unpretentious food, superbly cooked and beautifully presented then you will do no better than Isinglass. A light & imaginative hand in the kitchen ensures that each dish shines. This is real food, local in its origin. You can check out the supplies towards the back of the menu!

Just been for lunch on a Sunday. Stunningly simple and delivered extremely well. Only a small menu however a very small price £20.00 per person inc Drinks!! Pork belly, great, just right size portion Crumble was so light however tasty. You can go for a quite meal or take the whole family including children, we will return.

Urmston at last has a quality eatery, meaning I don't have to go to Manchester every time I want a meal that is a bit special. I tried Isinglass for the first time this Wednesday, and it will certainly be the first of many visits. Our table for 4 enjoyed every course. The smoked salmon and potato tart with dill sauce was top drawer, and my Game Pie, stuffed with venison, quail, rabbit and woodpigeon was so filling I couldn't manage the cheese board I had been so looking forward to. My wife and our two friends each had a dessert that they raved about. I have read reviews on some sites, which I just cannot understand. The service was great, I for one don't want to be rushed when enjoying quality food, the background music gave an excellent chilled atmosphere, and as stated the food was freshly cooked and extremely tasty. For the standard of food, the price was not overly expensive, certainly compared to some city centre establishments. All in all an excellent evening and I would strongly recommend Isinglass to anyone who would listen!

Having visited Isinglass today for the first time with my family including two young children, the experience was a wholly positive one. Helpful and friendly staff from the outset, tasteful decor, and a friendly easy ambience. The food was first class and it's a credit to the proprietors that the prices are as reasonable as they are. Obviously good ingredients beautifully prepared and an extensive wine list to boot. This definitely will not be my last visit!

Just wanted to say it was my first time dining at Isinglass with a very special guy and this meal made the evening even better top marks! Hope to see you all very soon for another great meal and night ;-) well recommended!

On my first visit to this restaurant, i was extremly happy with the quality of the food, the crab tart and cornish seafood stew were to die for and as for the sampfire grass mash well it was superb. It is nice to know where your food has come from coupled with the flair and talents of the chef, this was a meal to remember.

Absolutely Fantastic! I will definitely be returning here again, Great atmosphere all round, Food=Excellent, all in all a brilliant night out
