WOW 1st time in here today, went at lunchtime. What a lovely transformation they have done in there, so bright, airy and comfortable, beautiful chandelier in the middle. The food was the best I have had from a restaurant in Urmston and service was perfect with very polite service. I am certainly going to be going back soon, think this will take of in Urmston.

What a gorgeous new addition to dining out in Urmston. Beautiful restaurant, attentive, helpful staff. Really good choice of menu. Food was excellent. Good wine list and good prices. Will definitely visit again soon.

Brilliant night at Istanbul Grill! Great food, great atmosphere, amazing staff. Just what Urmston needs. Great to see all that disposable income finally being be spent in Urmston itself and hopefully it goes to show to other businesses there is a real market for good restaurants in the area!

Booked a meal for 2 last night. Food was excellent. Wine was pretty good too. Fab night and love the decor. Can't wait to visit again. Welcome treat for Urmston.

All I can say is OMG out of this world food so nice, people very helpful . Toilets are clean and lots of space 2 move about, not all squeezed in around tables very nice. Will go again and will tell friends.

Just what we have been waiting for, a brilliant combination of staff all brought together under one amazing roof that is now Istanbul Grill Urmston. Opening night was great, every thing about this place is first class. It is well worth a visit....

Called in during the week for a meal with my husband. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food didn't disappoint either. All round, a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Had a really good night friendly staff great food great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place, not many like this one left. Thanks to all at the Standard.

Just had boxing day lunch with family at Thai village. Whilst food was tasty enough & staff were friendly & attentive, the while experience was spoilt by the fact that the place was freezing! Even the red wine was chilled! We will not be in a hurry to return.

What a find! Had dinner last night at The Village Inn in Flixton. Excellent food. We all really enjoyed the delicious Thai food. The staff were great- very friendly, attentive and made sure we were all looked after. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

Ordered sweet chilli chicken god only knows what I got it tasted foul only slightly disguised by a sauce which was neither BBQ or OK but tasted of something that should have long gone in the dustbin I would not advise anyone I didn't wish a few days on the toilet to eat from there even if the we're starving hungry a bin outside McDonalds would be a vast improvement. Avoid at all costs.

Food ok/nice the service really bad. I got my starter after the rest of are party had finished, I then got the wrong main and had to wait for them to make it so again the rest of the party had finished before me. I did complain and all I got was an apology and for what I paid thought they should of refunded something or offer a free drink but they didn't. So I said I would not return there again.

Great night at the Standard. Lovely food relaxed atmosphere good service and felt very welcome. Enjoyed the complementary drink at the end of a lovely meal.
