Its local to us so we go here fairly regular. The food is always to the same high standard and the staff are really nice. To say its a chain, I think its unusual to find such good food as the quality is usually poor. My hubby loves his steak and they always cook it spot on. Really good value for pub grub.

Rustico – WakefieldWent on Saturday for Valentines. Been every valentines for the past few years. We love it there as it is a warm welcoming place to go. Your welcomed as soon as you walk through the door, the lady who takes your order is very friendly and helpful. The food is to die for, service is second to none. It's even a pleasure paying your bill as the lady who takes your money is friendly and polite. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be returning again next year. Can we go back to receiving a rose ladies please. It's the little touches that make your night. We sat at table 39 right in front of the fire. They even moved our table to be sat there. Thanks to all the staff.

The food tastes fresh and gorgeous (i like the little ammareto shot at the end of the meal!), all the staff are really friendly and efficient but don't rush you at all and everything feels warm and intimate. You feel like you've found a little hidden gem in wakie! Me and my boyfriend had our first date here so it'll always be special
Prego Pizzeria – WakefieldHave eaten here a number of times and its always excellent. We live some miles away when out on travels its worth a detour from your normal route. My only one gripe is that its so popular the large car park is always busy and sometimes a little tricky to manouver in! Great food, Great atmosphere, Great staff.

We find the food excellent and the staff very friendly.The price is right for both food and drinks, and in these desperate times, that,s got to be good. Microwaves are obviously a part of this place but not boil in the bag. The range of foods will satisfy all but the fussiest. Its preparation and presentation will make you want to return time and time again. Ive only been at lunchtime and its busy. Evenings can be crowded and less relaxing an atmosphere i'm told. To be sure you need to book. You will not be disappointed

The Royal Oak – WakefieldHave been regular patrons of "Bella Roma" for quite a few years, so we decided to try other Italian restaurants in the area for a change. In the last 6 months we have tried 7 in Wakefield, Batley, Dewsbury, Horbury and Morley. Guess what ? It's back to "Bella Roma". The selection is huge, the quality great, the staff happy & helpful, the prices reasonable. One thing only...how about a couple of "English" desserts. A nice fruit crumble or a cheese board would be great.
Bella Roma – WakefieldVisited the place on a Thursday evening with my girlfriend and found the food of a very low standard. The waiters were also very moody. I have since discovered bollywood lounge only has a 2 star hygiene rating from Wakefield Council! they definitely need to up their standards.

However our last meal here was not upto the normal standard, items missing it looked as though not a lot of thought had gone into the meal preparation and was somewhat rushed with little pride.If you like your steak charcoal Burnt then this is the place to go. We have had some good food here in the past but the meal we had today was not upto scratch, we informed the waitress but we never received a apology. We will be back but will be giving the steak a miss next time
Black Bull – WakefieldA truly great place, really excellent food and always busy which is a good sign. I come here with friends who live in Huddersfield, but have even bumped into business contact there who live nearby meaning it's their local. they a so lucky!
