We first tried the Shabana when my Wife and I visited from Germany last December having read reports of its opening in the local papers. We both fell for the Bangladeshi cuisine straight away. We are at the back end of this years visit to Wakefield and have eaten there three nights on the trot (pun)! Need I say more?

This is a super place - go early and get really good deals - all mains £4.95 (I think). Pizzas are great but so is everything else. Starters are generous and desserts are all homemade. Small but really good feel to it. We have been back often -say no more!

I had been recommended to prego by a friend normally im not a fan of pasta and pizza but ive changed my mind. Its a small restaurant but it has a nice feeling to it and the pizzas are huge and you can watch them being freshly made in an open oven. Its not the normal microwaved rubbish that you often get . Its nice to taste fresh food.

A prize find. Great food hidden on the end of town. Shouldn't be writing this here, cos more people will check it out and turn into regulars!! Nice staff, fantastic food, will be back for more!!

Beautiful place, food not great. Some of our party were vegetarians and their food was very dull.

I personally love this restaurant. I go back again and again. I love the food, i love the staff and i love the decor. Can't fault it.

Had the weekday lunchtime special - carvery with a dessert for £5 - couldn? fault it - beef melted in my mouth and the home-made apple pie was a real treat - almost as good as my mothers!!!

With out question the best night out in Wakefield for family or couples. The sauces and seafood are second to none, just behind Bibis in Leeds on the score chart

The best food in Wakefield. Everything is cooked from fresh produce (and I understand it is the only restaurant in Wakefield that does) to a standard that you should be paying more than twice the price for. Nothing from the freezer to the fryer here. Good, friendly service and great beer.

Went here just for a dinnertime snack - me and the wife had Giant Yorkshire puds & meat - I had lamb - she had beef - it was warm - nice meat stock gravy - and the meat (both the lamb and the beef was very tender and full of flavour indeed)- Also had a portion of chips - homemade - and very nice too ! - would recommend it !

Good range of real ales compliment the bar food. Restaurant menu looked very inviting, however there is only so much one can eat at one sitting! Atmosphere of the bars was fantastic and it was good to see gas lamp lighting adding to the ambience.

A very nice restaurant, and lovely inside, i recommend this to anyone. The staff are really helpful and the food is gorgeous!

One of three fine Italian Restaurants in Wakefield. The other two being Bella Roma and Rinaldis. Fab food, great atmosphere. Superb place just to wile away the evening with friends whilst enjoying the wine list!!! Keep it up!!

after visiting the restaurant numerous times i have always found it excellent value for money. the staff are great, food excellent and the atmosphere great. i would recommend it to anyone. they also make children very welcome.

I think the Capri is the best restaurant I have ever been to the food is delicious and the service from the waiters is very good it is a very friendly sociable environment
