Yr Hwb – Betws y CoedExcellent fresh food and lovely staff.
Yr Hwb – Betws y CoedThis was a lovely find for our family! Amazing food, service and views, all rolled into one. So lovely for the children to burn of steam and play hide and seek in the garden. A must for families!!
Yr Hwb – Betws y CoedLovely welcoming atmosphere, warm and cozy on a wet cold night. Staff are all lovely and a credit to the business. Food was perfect pub grub, well cooked and great portions. Amazing chips (my weakness) planning our return trip.
Pont y Pair Inn – Betws-Y-CoedAfter reading the reviews on the food I booked a table in November for 28th December for 2 people and thought nothing more of it. We turned up on 28th December to be told that our table had not been reserved as the bookings were not coming through. We were eventually sat in the lounge area which was very run down and dirty with condiment caps on the floor, no serviettes etc. Had to put up with the waitress noisily polishing cutlery whilst we were seated. Food was edible but nothing special. Toilets were horrific, wet slippy floor and dirty.
Pont y Pair Inn – Betws-Y-CoedI had lunch here this past August with my brother and we both enjoyed our meals amid highly comfortable surroundings. It was our second visit. The prices were most reasonable for an establishment whose décor would be the envy of most other places charging double for a similar fare. If I lived in the immediate area ,I would surely visit the place on a regular basis.
Maenan Abbey Hotel – Betws-Y-CoedTucked away off the main roads, this restaurant is most highly recommended. Interesting menu, adventurous without being pretentious. Beautifully cooked food, superbly presented, friendly staff, good atmosphere. I would have liked my portion of (exquisite) lamb to have been 50% larger, but that won't deter me from a return visit.
The Tannery – Betws-Y-CoedHappened upon this while holidaying in Llanrwst and thought we'd try it out for a belated birthday meal. How lucky were we! The meal was fabulous- the best lamb I think I've ever tasted- and even our fussy 15yr.old daughter loved everything she had (including the wonderful bumbleberry juice they stock). Every course was well presented and delicious and staff friendly and welcoming. Just wish we lived closer (we come from Kent) so we could go regularly!
The Tannery – Betws-Y-CoedWhat a find! I would rate this restaurant to be one of the best in North Wales. Superbly cooked and very well presented food. Nice friendly atmosphere and staff. I can’t fault it. Will certainly go again (and again). Overall a very good night out and good value for money.
The Tannery – Betws-Y-CoedJust found this restaurant in Llanwrst. What a delight. Open plan cooking great staff delicious food at reasonable prices
Amorn Thai Restaurant – Betws-Y-CoedUnbelievable home made food. An absolute must if you are visiting Conwy/Snowdonia area. Amazing setting next to the bridge in Llanrwst on the way into snowdonia. Ambience is lovely 15th century building with food to die for! Cakes scones etc as well as lunches. The scones are massive and come with lashings of cream and jam. A real MUST!!
