Went to King head with partner and our child spent 30 on food my partner ordered mixed grill and steak to be well done. When it came out had a funny strong smell of cow muk he cut it in half and the smell was so strong. I took it back and there was 3 staff that smelt it in front of us and knocked them to feel sick and said that is not right. Yes we had a refund on the mixed grill but it had put us off all the meat there as they would of been able to smell the steak when they were cooking it we had no reason or apology from the shef. Disappointed

Amazing nautical themed restaurant with decked outside eating are near Rhyl Yacht Club. Would highly recommend the Anglesey Sea Bass....... actually any of the seafood dishes, they are all delicious. My partner is a steak lover so would recommend that! Happens to be located next to the Chester Variety Club so a meal and show afterwards made for one of the best nights out in North Wales.

My parents who are pensioners visited on the 23rd April 2015, the fish that my mother was served wasn't edible, she complained 3 times where she was told they would speak to the chef, nothing was done. My mother paid the bill, she was charged full amount even though she was unable to eat her meal and there was no apology. I am absolutely disgusted on how my parents was treated, at this rate this business will not last long if they treat all paying customers this way.

Recently visited the pub very impressed with the quality of the food and the service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone a visit should you be in the area.

This resort had been closed sine the beginning of the year. Members have been ignored and are unable to book or exchange their weeks. People booked at the resort are unable to gain access.

We visit Rhyl very often. We always wanted to visit this restaurant (Mayquary)! Well, what a disappointment indeed. We walked and found a table setting for four people. We asked if we could sit there as most of the free tables were reserved. We were asked if we did not mind sitting near the door at the table for two. We said ok that would be fine. We were told that there was a shortage of kitchen staff and they did not want to over full the restaurant. Well we sat down and waited and waited…..the lady was far more interested in fiddling with the empty tables than attempting to serve. We tried to get some service but that proved fruitless so we left.We were most disappointed, we felt that the restaurant was poorly managed. We believed that due to the Air Show, the management should have been well prepared. Poor experience indeed.

An absolute fab friendly place to eat. Went for meal after the air show and it was my birthday and the staff made me and my family very welcome and they even went to the trouble of bringing out a suprise birthday cake, thank you xxx

First pint (Abbots Ale) was pure vinegar so I complained and got a Marstons Pedigree which I didn't drink either! NO FOOD. Don't go near it!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a fantastic place to eat, we visit often, we take our great Aunty of 92yrs who eats there most weeks! Would highly recommend a visit, excellent service from all. Thankyou.

Tastiest Indian curry around here .

My family and i have always enjoyed dining at the mayquay but we recently went there over easter and the food has seriously gone downhill since last year. what a shame because it's a nice pub.

Spot on. I had mixed meat madras, the Mrs had chicken pasanda and we shared a portion of mushroom rice and a kemma nann. When I phoned the order I was told it would be 30 to 40 minutes and true to the guy that took the order it was not late. Very tasty and not badly priced too!!!

Ok just received my meal after a 45 minute wait. Not even busy. Onion rings nice size, slightly over done. Steak pie looks very meaty, plenty of gravy which is good. I have a dinner with pork for a fiver it's a good size with fresh veg. Good value. My sister is fussy she got a burger, she just told me it nice, and chips are nice. I'd eat here again 2 steak pie and chips, 1 pork dinner, 1 burger and chips. Onion rings and 1 ice cream. £35

Visited today 3rd April 2012.Had a banana milkshake that was 16 days out of date this is not very good for business and could of been picked up by a collegue of mine who is an inspecter for restaurants and take aways. Even though a full refund and appology was given I have been left with a poorly little boy who now has an upset stomach.

I came with a friend on the first day, of the Christmas lunches, and we would thoroughly recommend anyone to this place. The meal was delicious, and they cater for vegetarians as well. There was so much on your plate and the food was lovely and hot. We would love to come again, but cannot find a menu on the computer.
