When I stopped at the Bush I met the most frendly people. Everyone was super good. I plan on stopping again when I am in the UK in July 2016.

Food is always late and when you pick it up the rudest man ever works there, I would not give them my money

It is becoming an almost weekly ritual eat here on a Wednesday before going to the Duke of York Quiz Always excellent service and excellent food

just visited this delightful little sandwich shop in Wallsend after quite an absence because of my work. the place has had a complete facelift and looks incredible. there seems to be a huge range of new products on show so plumped for the toasted wrap filled with chicken, salad and salsa. Have to say that this was a pure taste of Mexico and i cant wait to try the other variations on offer

LOOK you know when you can't be bothered to go out and can't be bothered to cook anything then YOU MUST TRY Modern Tandoori's take away, Now how is this for value spend over £15 and you get a free curry of your choice. The food is superb and just the same as eating in the restaurant and is HOT not like some others i can mention

I have been a customer of the Modern Tandoori since 1981. The food is always excellent and the staff are always friendly, helpful and smartly turned out. The restaurant has been recently refurbished with new flooring, tables & chairs & decoration. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Modern Tandoori!!

The best Indian meal I have ever had nan breads are the best around n all get on it

This restaurant is an absolute gem. The food is as good if not better than anything you will find in Newcastle. We have been a number of times and the standard of food is always very good. We have also had take aways and the food is just as good as eating in the restaurant. The staff are great, really friendly and will advise you if you are not sure what you are ordering. If you live locally please, please go along and give it a try - you will not be disappointed. And the additional bonus is as they are not licensed you can take your own beer/wine along with you. I cannot recommend Aziz highly enough.

very good i thought it was lovely i was worried at first but the food blew me away absolutely gawjus i wold recommend this to everyone 10 out of 10 for me I'm not so keen on Indian food but that was lovely lovely inside well cooked food don't know a word that can sum this up brilliant? lush? amazing? i don't know its too yummy !

While over from Amsterdam recently to see us, my son insisted that we went to see Mr Miah as he wanted to have a proper curry with his Dad & sisters as he always enjoys dining at Mr Miah's as does the rest of the family, nothing is a bother to the staff who are always pleasant , polite & very helpful, they will make your curry to your taste.

Have you just completed the Hadrian Wall Walk? [West to East...so the rain is on your back!] If you are now fagged out & famished then head straight down Wallsend high street to Aziz genuine Bangladeshi restaurant. Fantastic place - non of your flock wallpaper and josticks - very sophisticated, minimalist decor... indirect lighting makes the whole place glow like an igloo. Our first visit: great service, great taste, great selection, great portions, and Great Value. This is a really Cool spot, for a Spot of the Hot... I'm telling you ;<)

The Modern Tandoori is outstanding not only for it's food but also for it,s service Mr Miah is some chef as is his partner Ali they never fail to surpass and if there is something not on the menu say something different they will do there utmost to provide

Fantastic quality meal from friendly staff in a high spec local Indian eatery. This place is a cut above the rest as far as my wife & I are concerned. Lovely range of food from Starter to Sweet and it all tasted great. Don't let all these places that serve 100 courses for £8 fool you - this place might not appear cheap (but it is believe me!) but you're actually getting proper portions of lovely meat and fish - bring your own wine as they don't have a license at the mo but 50p per glass is great to save on drinks as you can nip to Netto down the road for a brilliant £3 bottle of wine - meal for 2 should cost about £35 depending on how hungry you are.

The food,Service,and overall place was great, u have to try there to understand this, I am quite the connoisseur of Indian food and this was special, I will be back again very soon

This restaurant is absolutely amazing the food is always cooked perfectly and is delicious! The name of the restaurant certainly matches the standards; "Modern Tandoori" The staff are always friendly and helpful! Its a great place to eat, so i would recommend it to all you curry lovers like me!
