Amazing customer service and food is lush! Had the chicken, ham and leak pie (special of the week) was lovely greated by freindly faces! Holesome atmosphere and warm on winter evenings!

We had a lovely meal at the blowing stone on Jan 25th.the service was very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious the best fish and chips cooked to perfection and served with a smile.

We have visited the Blowing stone several times and always had a really warm welcome and great food. I highly recommend the roast but don’t be surprised if you can’t manage dessert as it is very substantial and equally delicious. Lovely friendly family atmosphere and lots going on, don’t miss it.

We visited the Blowing Sone Inn as a group of 20+ for Sunday Lunch, I think it's fair to say they were short of staff to cope with such a number, (I was told the bar manager was absent); they did their best but there was a long delay, well over an hour, before we ate. The Vegetarian Wellington was exceptionally sweet and the base pastry very hard. No gluten-free gravy was provided although pre-ordered. Russel has a calm and helpful manner. The pub is well situated for walking up to the Ridgeway,

The pub was start and finish for our family walk to Uffington white horse about 6 miles round trip. Made very welcome. Good beer and music choice. Limited choice menu on Sunday but we had a roast in mind anyway. A really good plate of tasty food and the puddings scrummy. Definitely call again if in the area. Thanks to all.

We came for the roast dinner and it was great,the staff are very friendly and helpful,would highly recommend to friends and family,we have been twice now and will definitely be returning

Came in for Sunday lunch :) it was lovely, a five minute drive from home and we had no idea this lovely pub existed. Now we have found it we will be back. Lovely food, the most delicious chicken goujons I've ever eaten and a lovely Sunday roast :) the gravy was perfect and the rosemary and garlic on the veg and potatoes made it all smell and taste divine! The only negative was that my insistence on having a starter didn't leave me room for pudding! The staff were very friendly & attentive and the food arrived quickly. It was also good value. Thank you we will return for pudding :)

Very nice supper on Friday night. Good atmosphere. Fun to see and chat with a few other friends from the village. Had a delicious ribeye steak and a nice glass or two of red. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

Our 8-party family, including two small children, came here for Sunday lunch while visiting the Vale of the White Horse. We were warmly received and the staff went out of their way to ensure all of us, but particularly the children, were well looked after. We ate a delicious lunch, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere lovely. Kingston Lisle is a pretty little village and this was a great way to end a week long holiday in this lovely part of England.
