Enjoyable meal with friends, good ambience and helpful staff

Fabulous Sunday dinner at the Huff Cap. Beautifully cooked pork and love the concept of picking and choosing your sides. Delicious!

When we arrived the waiter just pointed to our table and told us to sit there. We then had to order at the bar even though other tables seemed to get table service, the drinks came out quick however I also asked for a starter to come out at the same time as the main but it came out about 45minutes before the main. Once the main had come out, after a long wait, we asked for two more drinks and they did not come out until we had finished our main . The food was okay but service was a little disappointing friendly but they did not listen .

Took the Mrs for her birthday service was great staff very friendly food was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice would definitely be going back soon

Great Valentines Day meal in the Huff. Very friendly & efficient service, some tasty Specials for the occasion, and as usual the ale was faultless. The perfect Local!

Food was amazing, staff attentive and quick ! Big shout out to the amazing chefs that were working on Friday. Will definitely be returning.

Great to return to Mother Huffcap on Sat evening. Setting was lovely, the food was spot-on, service attentive and everyone uber friendly - its a a really nice pub with great food. All positive feedback - thanks to all see you next time.

First time back since reopening and it’s great! Good range of beers and a good, well priced menu.

A great sunday roast with the trimmings selection. A really tasty meal which we will certainly return for. The apple and plum crumble was a little odd, I can see what the chef was trying to achieve, but it didn't quite succeed, so we didn't eat much of it. The overall appearance of the pub was good, I think that with practice (and they are probably struggling for staff right now) it will look great. There was just a lot of dust, glasses on the table not polished (plenty of water marks), and where the salt has been refilled there were lots of little piles of salt on the tables. I write all of the above to be constructive because we will be back.

Place and staff are great... but wasn't that impressed with the Sunday dinner for the price we paid.

Delicious food and cosy atmosphere each time we have visited as a family. As vegetarians, this restaurant offers us a lot of choice. The mezza in particular, is a firm favourite as is the mint tea and baklava. The mains we have had are wholesome but have lacked flavour. The service is excellent and we have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It is slightly more expensive than we would usually go for but the food is fresh and in the main, very good.
