visited Antonelli's last night with party of three. Service was ok but food was disappointing - very bland and greasy. Vegetables were cold and rock hard. Bit of concern that the desert trolley with uncovered/unchilled fresh cakes sat in the main dining room - is this hygienic?

I was exited about this restaurant since it has been redecorated as its been many years since ive been back to liverpool,i came with an old friend of mine on Tuesday the service was a bit slow and when my soup arrived it was not very hot my friend opted for garlic bread which we both enjoyed, the main meal we both had chicken in a cream and mushroom sauce which was very bland and the plate was full off fingerprints not something you like to see, the tiramisu was fantastic, i may have come on an off day, but i was expecting a little bit more

I would not recommend Nicola's restaurant. Myself and family dined there on Sat 23rd Feb. We found the food poor, the service poor and the staff really rude. It started off with our party being served their meals, my meal didn't arrive and nither did my friends. Our waiter said not to worry he would be back with ours in 5 mins, we were still without food 25-30 mins later. My friends food then turned up in dribs and drabs mine was no where to be seen. Five mins later out came mine, i'd ordered a kebab it came on a large scewer and I had trouble getting the meat off. I finally managed it in the process burning my hand on the metal scewer. By this point I wasn't hungry anymore just really angry, I never ate my food and asked the waiter to remove it as everyone else had ate theirs. He then came back at me with a really bad attitude arguing with me in the restaurant, he said ''I told you yours would be late''. I don't expect as a paying customer to be spoken to like that in a restaurant, I told him that he had an awful attitude and he left the table saying ''la la la la''. I strongly recommend not going to this restaurant as there are so many others in the Waterloo area that are so much better.

My friend dad works there and it was lovely i went there a while back for jays ( the waiter ) 21st birthday and it was lovely! Hope to go there again soon! Hello daz n jay xx

I have eaten at Nicola's a couple of times, and the food is wonderful. The staff are attentive and very friendly. My family ate there on Christmas Day, and it was great traditional fayre, and the staff made everyone's Christmas Day,regardless of their age. I have also been lucky to see a great swing singer who appears there. Everyone was dancing and having the best time.

we visited her last Saturday as part of a large party. What great food, really spot on, and we were in a party of 25 !! We all ordered a la carte and nothing was too much trouble, we got amazing individual veggies with each main course. I thought the price was very reasonable for such quality food and I think they have done the place up since I last went and it is quite hip in a cosy sort of way. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be going again soon. QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY

I don't understand all the good comments for this place. The atmosphere was nice and bright and lively....however The service was quite poor. I booked a table for 2 people 9pm on a Saturday night, I got in there just before 9 but didn't get seated until just after 9.20. then I asked for drinks which never came. At the end of the meal the waiter took the bill and assumed he was getting the tip. The food was decent but nothing special. Maybe it was an off night for them, i dont know. I wouldnt be in a hurry to go back. I just wish we would have went to the spanish place over the road again.

This is a quality restaurant! Not a huge place and it makes you feel like you are in Spain which makes for a great atmosphere! food is always quality. Been about 5 times and never let me down.

Lovely place to eat! Atmosphere is wonderful! The staff are very pleasing and all the dishes to choose from are blinding. Very reasonable too. Been about 5 times. Just don't try to order too many dishes they come at the same time and the eyes are bigger than the belly! A+

Been here a good few times as I live close by. The food is generally good if a bit pricey. The staff are pretty efficient as well. My big problem is the speed with which it appears, and also all at once. Ideally the dishes would appear a few at a time so you could linger and relax. However, it tends to appear in one delivery minutes after ordering which is good if you are in a hurry but not so good if you were planning to have a leisurely night out.

I visited parnells last week and could not figure if it was meant to be a restaurant, bar or cafe. The prices were like a smack in the face! The music was terrible and the service was a little poor i waited up to an hour for my meal. I was a little disappointed as i was recommended by a friend.5/5 for me.

I ate from the two for one bar meals menu and paid a tenner for two main meals. The fish & chips were outstanding, a generous portion of fresh fish in a cains bitter beer batter. My partner had the peppered chicken which was the best pepper sauce ever. Fresh vegetables make a big difference instead of the frozen rubbish usually served in bars. I have been back since and will go again. At a tenner for two main meals, you cant cook at home for that!

HI MY NAME IS RACHEL I AM 11 YEARS OLD I VISTED THE PUNCH BOWL WITH MY MUM AND DAD ON THE 24TH OF NOVEMBER.TO BEGIN WITH I WAS SERVED THE WRONG MEAL, WHICH WAS QUITE PLAINLY ORDERED CORRECTLY. HOWEVER, THE WAITRESS INSISTED I HAD ORDERED THE MEAL SHE HAD.FOLLOWING THIS, MY MUM ORDERED A BEEF CURRY WHICH WAS FOUND TO BE GRIZZLY MEAT.AFTER OUR MEAL MY DAD THEN ORDERED ME A VANILLA ICE CREAM, SOME 20 MINS LATER IT ARRIVED!... OVERALL I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE PUNCH BOWL AS I AND MY FAMILY WHERE TRULY DISAPPOINTED AS WE HAVE MANY TIMES IN THE PAST VISITED AND FOUND TO BE VERY ENJOYABLE. I DID GIVE THE MANAGER MY OPINION, HOWEVER HE JUST SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS.

Visited Your restaurant last week, 4 of us arrived at about 1.20 (lunchtime) we ordered our meals (not just pasta or Pizza) it was a full meal. We then ordered the house wine, we did not like it so we ordered a bottle, only to be told by the waiter that you closed at 2 and would we have time to drink a full bottle. This was not to our liking, we cancelled the 4 meals and cancelled the wine, Was it that you did not want people in at lunchtime, if this was the case then you should close for lunch. The waiter did not want us to order. I do not think the waiter was the owner. Very bad mannered. We will not be visiting your restaurant again. what a wonderful evening we had, my friend recommended this restaurant, the service was excellent are young waiter was very helpful its been a long time since we had such a superb meal, will be booking again very soon, i recommend this restaurant to any one looking for that all around experience of what a restaurant should be keep up the good work
