This place is fantastic, I have been 3 x this month!! Hope the Manager reads the comments people have left and is proud of himself...whatever you do don't start putting up the prices as it is a place people can afford and its affordable to take the family. Well done, the food is fresh, hot, tasty & lots to choose from...just 1 question where is the Affelia?lol. This is by far the best Greek Restaurant outside of Greece (and probably just as good) that I have ever been to...well done.

I have been going here for years and seen as i haven't been for a while,decided to go here for a friend's 21st birthday. The staff are very rude if you have a complaint or have anything to say, especially the younger manager who was very aggressive towards one of our party and also very patronising. The food wasn't all that great, rushed and pretty tasteless from what it used to be. would not recommend going here if you are looking for a tasty meal and friendly staff, would go else where.

me and my wife just walked down south road and looked at the menu at the taverna and went in we ordered the 2 course s for £11.95 each the food was excellent along with the staff if your order goes over £30 pounds you get a litre of wine free could not find any faults with this restaurant i would give it 10/10

in one word, WONDERFUL had a great meal, happy staff and nothings to much for them, would recommend to anyone!!

just had a lovely meal here and felt I just had to make a recommendation. This must be the most under rated restaurant in Liverpool. I had a glorious mozzarella and sun dried tomato salad, my fella had gorgeous fresh asparagus soup and the kids both had mushrooms in a sauce on ciabatta bread (both veggies). My fish was red snapper and it was super, the veg that accompanied it was delicious, tiny carrots, new pots all tasted wonderful. The rest of our party had pasta which they all scoffed the lot. What can we say, Antonellis, keep up the good work, the service was faultless too. Well done we will be back soon

we have been here too many times to mention,the food is outstanding and the best tapas in the northwest (at least!!!) every dish we have tried has been excellent and my five year old daughter now refuses to go anywhere else for tapas !!! she especially loves the mussels in garlic.if u love tapas you need to go here now!!!

We had a great party here last week, it was my 50th birthday and I can honestly say that nothing was too much trouble for the young manager Antony and his staff. The food was to die for, it was all gorgeous, piping hot and served promptly - and there were 40 of us choosing from the main menu. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, my hubby and I came back on our own and enjoyed it just as much again, will definitely be regulars here. I didn't even mind when they played happy birthday to me !! they made my night. Thanks Antonellis xxxx

Absolutely superb!! No words can describe how nice this restaurant is. The staff are excellent, great to take the kids, and food is amazing. I go almost once a fortnight and have tried almost everything, which is all out of this world. The king prawns in white wine sauce are to die for mmmmmmmmm!

Tapas Tapas is about the best place to eat we know. We eat here every couple of weeks and each time remark how much we enjoyed the food. It is a great looking , friendly place. Staff are attentive, food is excellent, nice choice of wine and the price is reasonable too.

Went back for first time in 16 years, not because of any complaint with the food, just that I moved out of the area. Had good meal which was well priced with good sized portions. Rice was a little cold with my meal but would recommend again.

We went to Antonellis last night for a friends birthday after not going for many years and was very impressed and very pleasantly surprised with the change. They had a new more contemporary Italian menu and I went with the goats cheese filo pastry parcels to start which were fab and then the osso buco veal for mains which was as good as the one I had on holiday in Milan! Very tender meat with tomato sauce, a hint of orange and the rice had a taste of parmesan cheese to it... Yum! All in all it was definately so good that it won't be years before I go back again next time, more like next week to try more of the menu!

Me and my boyfriend have a meal here every week & my family have been going here for near 10 years. We enjoy the restaurants wonderful food, wine staff, service and above all its atmosphere. Anyone who goes here is in for a treat and they always make room for you even when its fully booked! excellent restaurant in the heart of Waterloo.

Been to the Punch Bowl quite a few times recently and the food was every time superb. The surroundings are warm and cosy, with a family feeling. Children are more than welcome and for a change the childrens' menu was not the typical "nuggets and chips" but the likes of real chicken and seabass. Service is always quick and pleasant. Has become the family favourite for a proper Sunday Lunch!

we had a wonderful Sunday lunch here just before Christmas. We were a large party so had to find somewhere that could cater for us all at once, we found the ideal place in the Barbacoa. The carvery that is served upstairs in a spacious room with a lovely relaxed atmosphere was fantastic. The cooking was amazing and the choice of meat and veg was more than enough for even the fussiest of eaters! The quality was far greater than any of the mass produced national chain carveries everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was great not at all intrusive but visible and available when needed. I am always nervous of taking a large party somewhere I would like to thank the Barbacoa for making me look really good!

Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. A real gem of a restaurant. I have been amany time and each time i have been very impressed.

I've Been to Indian Restaurant's all over the UK from London, Bradford etc... This is by far the best I've ever known and it's right on my door step. Go there abouts 5 nights a week haha. Food is seriously good, reasonably priced would recommend it to anybody who likes Indian Food, must be tried!

I have attended Antonellis for many years, but last night was most probably my last. The service was poor, cold meals, choices not available, no christmas spirit. Our group of eight were all disillusioned, and when we told the waiter that on the evening, the general consensus was that we did not enjoy it - there was not much response. Oh yes the bill was overcharged by about £15, so the tip was reduced by a similar amount. You have my permission to contact the operators of this restaurant.
