Been visiting this restaurant for a number of years now and can honestly say we have never been disappointed. Service and food is always excellent and the weekday specials are great value for money. They will always accommodate changes to the dishes e.g. my husband always asks for chicken in the carbonara and penne pasta rather than spaghetti and requests like this are never a problem because everything is freshly made. You can visit more expensive Italian restaurants nearby but you will get less quality food! I would highly recommend this restaurant - it's worth a try for a cheap weekday meal or a nice weekend treat.

My wife and i moved to the daisy hill area only 12 months ago and after giving birth to our first child we never got the chance to try out andiamos. However, he's now 7 months old and we got the in laws to babysit to give us the chance to sample this restaurant. We went on a saturday night and even though we booked the night before we couldn't get a seat at the time we wanted(8.15) so we had to take an 8.45 slot which was fine but it just goes to show you the popularity of this restaurant. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and immediately we felt at home. We were shown to our table were unfortunately we weren't offered any drinks and this was the only little thing that went against the place the whole night but as soon as you were tucking into your food this wasn't a problem. I presume it was just a one off as there were 2 big parties in there and maybe they weren't thinking straight, but, like i said, this wasn't any sort of a problem. We ordered a garlic bread with cheese for starters (a must have at any Italian restaurant) and the one between us was very filling so we were glad that our main meal was around another 10 minutes after we had finished. I know that some restaurants rush your main meal out to you but andiamos seemed happy to have your company and we certainly weren't rushed. For our main meal, we looked on the menu for the fillet gorgonzola, a favourite of ours from past Italian restaurants but unfortunately this wasn't to be seen, however, we did ask the lady(who i think was one of the owners) and they actually did it for us, a very nice touch which you probably wouldn't get at most other restaurants. We then asked what the potatoes to be served were as my wife can be quite fussy when it comes to potatoes and when we were told it was to be sliced potatoes i ordered a bowl of chips as well, however the lady didn't charge us for the chips and gave us a mixed portion of the potatoes and the chips, again, a really nice touch. Unfortunately we were so stuffed we couldn't manage a dessert but seeing other people around us have one you could clearly see that they were big portions. This restaurant is situated only 5 minutes walking distance from our house so will be ideal for a weekend treat, it's surroundings and interior are beautiful and the whole experience of dining here was one of the finest we've had. We are happy we finally got a chance to sample andiamos and we would very highly recommend this place to anybody, thankyou for a lovely evening.

I ATE A NICE MEAL AT THE RESTAURANT, LOTS OF VERY NICE REAL ITALIAN STAFF HERE. FUNNY THING HAPPENED FOUR DAYS AFTER PAYING FOR THE MEAL WITH MY CREDIT CARD - I STARTED TO GET PURCHASES FOR SECONDHAND GOODS ON MY CREDIT CARD FROM .... MILAN, ITALY!!!! GO FIGURE.

Had a great meal here, staff good but one lady in particular, Sylvia, was extremely helpful, polite and cheerful. Thank you for a great experience

Casa Nostra is still the best italian in Bolton.After all these years nothing is changed.We went on tuesday nite and we reserved a table for four near the window. The service was excellent and the food even better. Me and my husband we like it so much that we go two times a week and every wedding anniversary.We do recommend this restaurant to anyone especially during the week (LIVE MUSIC!!!!).

Service: comical. The waiter was rude and got every single order wrong. Food: poor. I ordered a fillet steak medium rare and was presented with a sirloin steak folded in half and well done to within and inch of its life. Not cheap either at £17. Ambience: we were seated in a conservatory with very bright lighting and it was very noisy. Cost: very overpriced for the standard of the food and restaurant in general.

A good meal at a very reasonable price especially if you use the £6.95 menu 3 courses included, a great place to eat and chat no rush, especially during the week.

We had a very pleasant evening at Casa Nostra.The staff were attentive but not intrusive nothing was too much trouble as they adapted the food for my dietry needs(a gluten free veggie)I had feta salad and veg rissotto and my friend garlic bread with tomato and chillies and spaghetti carbonara it was lovely , my friend said it was the best garlic bread and carbonara she had eaten in an italian in England(best one was in Rome)I recommend this restaurant it has a pleasant atmosphere and you come away with a full tummy , and you get your moneys worth.

We i.e. my family and friends have become very regular visitors to this family run restaurant in recent times. All that I can say is, try this restaurant and see/taste for yourself the excellent food. How many restaurants do we go to that couldn't care less about welcoming you, well no problem at Andiamo because you are always made to feel welcome and greeted with a smile. This a gem.

casa nostra is still a great place where to go for a good night out .During the week ,the special deal and the live music are something that no other restaurant offers. Now they open for Sunday lunch (with a special deal of £13.95 for three course meal.) and the staff is very friendly. The food is fresh and very.... Italian!! I will always recommend it.

The food is consistently excellent and staff are friendly, although I feel that they try to rush your experience to get you out.

We called in one after not being in for years, to find it was under new ownership, Its now has home made food with real chips, its a great Sunday carvery, a good meal deal offer, a 3 course for £6.95 plus a large ala carte to choose from and so nice and clean inside to other times we?e been in. The new owners have only been there approx 16 weeks so ive been told, keep up the good work. its also a family pub

Food is excellent and that goes for the staff too. La Scala is one of our favorites.

Had a lovely meal here, this was the first time that we had visited this restaurant and enjoyed lovely food and atmosphere

Andiamo was recommended to us by a friend and it lived up to his praise. Staff can? do enough and the chef is the owner so his reputation is on your plate.

Discovered this place totally by accident. A bit trepid initially on seeing that we were the only ones that early Friday night. However, the food was absolutely outstanding and the service impeccable...the chef even came out to see if we were enjoying our food. It got busier later, which would have been nice atmosphere. Planning on visiting again this week.

Absolutely fabulous food, if it isn? on the menu, Mario will do his best to cook whatever you want!! Prawns and mushrooms in cheese, cream and garlic sauce and oven baked is to die for, but don? forget the garlic bread to soak up the sauce!! Does a mean salmon steak too!!
