JackieO

Having originally frequented Quaglinos in the Terence Conran heydays when they had to start charging for the stolen iconic ashtrays - I was skeptical at returning. However I was pleasantly surprised on all fronts. A good sized bar upstairs for a pre dinner drink - expect to pay @ £10-£15 for a glass - but a good value )£19 set menu can balance out the expense. I had a delicious venison tartar to start followed by duck and couldn't resist the salted caramel brûlée for dessert. We were then reserved a seat at the down stairs bar, affording us a great view of the small stage where a DJ, singer and musicians began the entertainment from 10pm. A great place to go for a one stop shop for a whole evening of entertainment.

Spent a week at Christmas 2013 at a hotel near this pub and visited many times during that week. It was wonderful! Great atmosphere and the staff could not be nicer! Highly recommend.

Magnificent is a word I have never used to describe a hotel. However the Corinthia is just that. The location is perfect, a stones throw from the Thames in Whitehall. The hotel commands a a view of the Thames and city at the apex of 2 roads, giving the hotel a Haussmann Parisian feel. The interior is very upmarket and modern, without suffering from being contempory, which by definition becomes unfashionable. A mind bogling task to make a new hotel grand and imposing without the benefit of a long and grand history, but they did it. The hotel has two dining options and we enjoyed our Italian seafood choices vey much in Massimo. We will definitely return to try the British cuisine in The Northall, which we prefered the ambience of, when we do not have our infant in tow. I have no complaints at all about our time at the Corinthia.

An amazing restaurant with beautiful surroundings, can't wait to visit again.

What a location on the corner of Trafalgar Square. Perfect for seeing the sites of London. It's a hip boutique style hotel aimed at a young clientele with disposable cash! Contemporary design, dance music, fashionably clad staff. The roof terrace is a real bonus to this hotel, the weather wasn't there for us but on a sunny day it would have been awesome. Seems to get a lot of corporate use and needs a reservation making if you fancy it.. The service was friendly and our wee boy even received a teddy on arrival which was a nice touch!

Pleased we managed to visit on our trip this time - we were not disappointed! From so many mediocre eating-out places in London where 'they don't care as there's always another new visitor tomorrow', this one is a must visit. The steps will put some off but if you can make it, it's worth it!

Very cool basement venue just off Haymarket. Beautiful long cocktail bar. Perfect for pre-post theatre dinner (opposite Phantom of the Opera) - fantastic 'contemporary' Indian food.

UNo restaurant has been my favourite destination in Pimlico and Belgravia. Now when they have their famous pizza back there is nothing missing. Delicious food, extensive pure Italian wine list with reasonably prices. The service is efficient but friendly, very pleasant atmosphere and great value for money. Definitely recommended.

We travelled an hour and a half to meet family from abroad here as they were staying locally and sat isolated in the middle of the atrium area which had all the ambience of a school canteen. The food was poor, the main courses were cold and looked congealed on the plate - I don't know how far away the kitchens are but it looked well travelled. The time between courses just bordered on acceptable as we had lots to catch up on but it was pretty empty so wouldn't like to go when it was busy. Extremely poor value for money.

Hotel we stayed at in March was steps from this wonderful restaurant. Saying there again so as to be close. Ate there every night as food and service was that good. Very friendly host, great service and incredible food. You will love it. Difficult to decide on entree. Good salads too. Can hardly wait to go back this spring.

Quality traditional food made with fresh seasonal ingredients. A delightful lunch experience in quiet surroundings. It's almost a club atmosphere.

I've lived locally in Pimlico for a few years now and I love popping into UNo when I fancy a good, hearty Italian feast with some great wine. The service is always great and the atmosphere pleasantly relaxed while still retaining smartness. As long as I live in London I'll keep on coming here.

Bank restaurant is quite simply fabulous. The modern and enticing interior really welcomes you in. The bar is stunning, with plenty of privacy to be had should you require a seating area. Food is top notch as well, and expect a plethora of good wines. The waiter was charming but discreet, and that for me is the sign of a good restaurant. Just wait till you get down to the dining area too, it's a real getaway. Bank really made a lasting impression on me and my colleagues. Will definitely recommend to others when I return to London.
